I want to be able to forget my past and accept God's forgiveness. I am often ashamed of my thoughts and the things that I have done because they don't glorify Him. Please pray that I am able to accept his forgiveness and am able to resist the temptation of the devil. He tries me so hard, and I fall into it sometimes. Then I cry and cry because I know that it was wrong. Please pray that I am delivered of this bondage that sin has on me.

Father God I know that You are a loving God and Father and that You have forgiven this person from all past sins in the moment she came to You and ask Your forgiveness and repented. I ask that You would bind old satan from torturing her and reminding her of past sins; and help her to forgive herself; knowing past sins are just that past, and not to be remembered. I too am a strugling Christian. I have done a lot of un-Chritianly things in my past that I don't want to repeat. I know I can't forget the past but I also know I can't forgive myself if I dwell on the past. I believe that God has forgiven me of my past sins. If God can forgive me I have to forgive myself. Whenever I start to think or do the wrong things I try to remember to ask God for the stength to overcome. The devil will always throw evil temptations our way but God will always give us a way out. I pray that you and everyone else of us struggling Christians stay faithful, pray for strength to overcome our weaknesses, forgive ourselves and others, and kwow that God loves us. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
