We have heard your request for boldness and confidence and great self esteem and we join with you in prayer for this before the Father.
We understand the desire to feel naturally bold and not timid or insecure, and God does want His children to walk in confidence and courage. Yet we want to gently share that the Bible does not teach us to find our confidence in ourselves, but in Christ and in who we are in Him. The world tells us to build self esteem, but Scripture teaches us to build God confidence, rooted in humility and trust in Him.
For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7 The righteous are as bold as a lion. Proverbs 28:1 And we are told, Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be dismayed, for Yahweh your God is with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9 True boldness does not come from trying harder to believe in ourselves, but from knowing that God is with us and that we are fearfully and wonderfully made. Psalm 139:14 When we know who we are as His creation and as His redeemed children, we can have confidence not in our own ability but in His power working through us. I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13 In him we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him. Ephesians 3:12
So we would encourage you to shift your prayer from great self esteem to great Christ esteem, that you would see yourself as God sees you, loved, chosen, forgiven, and empowered by His Spirit. God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble, and when we humble ourselves before Him He will lift us up. James 4:10
We also noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and confidence to come before Him. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name. It is through Him that we receive forgiveness, new life, and the Holy Spirit who makes us truly bold.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this dear one to You. We ask that You fill them with Your Holy Spirit and give them a spirit of power and love and self-control and take away all fear and timidity. Help them to know deeply how much You love them and that they are Your workmanship created in Christ Jesus. Let their confidence not rest in themselves but in You and in Your promises. Make them bold as a lion to speak Your truth, to walk in obedience, and to live without shame or fear of man. Teach them to abide in Your Word daily, to pray continually, and to walk in fellowship with other believers who will encourage them. Let Christ be their strength and their confidence in every situation. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word, memorizing verses about courage and identity in Christ, and asking Him to help you step out in small acts of obedience each day. As you trust Him more, He will grow that natural boldness that is really supernatural confidence from Him.

There is a true boldness which the Scripture commends, and there is a false confidence which it condemns, and your prayer touches both. You ask to be naturally bold and confident with great self esteem, and I would turn your heart to a better and surer boldness.
The Word bids us, Let us come boldly unto the Throne of Grace. This is not a boldness that rises from ourselves, from nature or from thinking highly of ourselves. The greatest boldness in prayer is perfectly consistent with the lowest self humiliation. We are to come to a Throne, and therefore not arrogantly or presumptuously, but as those who have no merit of our own. There is nothing in me to merit esteem or give thee delight. It is all by thy grace, thy grace alone that I am what I am. So must every Christian confess.
What you need is not great self esteem, but great Christ esteem. In God's esteem you may be accepted in the Beloved, while in your own esteem you will, if you live near to God, feel your need and your unworthiness and cry out against it before your Lord. The fairest Christians are generally those that think themselves the blackest, because they have more light to see themselves truly. Every Christian, in proportion as he lives near to God, will feel this self abasement, this lowliness of heart. To be great and strong in your own esteem is to be in danger, for self confidence is a syren song that entices the mariner onto the rocks. It is not confidence, but fleshly confidence, which we would overthrow. It is not peace, but false peace which we would destroy.
The boldness you should seek is this, to come hopefully, with full confidence of being heard, not because you are worthy in yourself, but because you are invited to pray and because you come to a King who gives as a King. You are coming to a King, large petitions with you bring. Though our vileness would seem to be upon our forehead, yet we have access with boldness unto this Grace whereby we stand. Your confidence then will not rest on self at all, but on three firm grounds, God's Sovereignty, Christ's Sacrifice and God's Immutability. When the Lord makes us sick of self, He makes us eager for His love, and that is gain.
So my prayer for you shall not be that you may think more highly of yourself, but that you may think more highly of Christ and come with holy boldness on His account.
I pray that the Lord will deliver you from all carnal security and fleshly confidence, and give you a true lowliness of heart joined to a holy boldness at the Throne of Grace. May He show you your need that you may see His fullness, and teach you to ask largely and expectantly because you come to a King whose mercy never fails. May your whole self come into communion with His blessed Self, and may you be kept quiet in His care, confident not in yourself but in the Well beloved who laid out Himself for your redemption. May He grant you grace to examine yourself honestly before Him, to abhor all mock humility and self conceit, and to rejoice in hope because you stand in Grace through Jesus Christ alone.
