There is mercy in bringing your desires before the Lord and spreading them out as a petition at His feet. I have heard your prayer that the Lord would provide for you a godly husband after the pattern of Boaz, and a new place to dwell in comfort where your two cats may remain with you, and you have rightly pleaded the blood of Jesus.
Know that the Lord has set apart him that is godly for Himself, and the Lord will hear when you call unto Him. It is a good and comely desire to seek marriage as God ordained it, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and to ask for a home provided by His faithful hand. Our God has been a Husband to His people in His special love and faithfulness, communing with them most lovingly and providing for them as with all His worldly goods He does endow His own. If you are His, He will not forget you in your need of shelter and companionship.
Seek above all that any man you would call Boaz be first a godly man, a God loving man whose heart has gone out after Christ, for the best way of life is to walk in the road in which godly principles would conduct you. Your request for a godly husband like Boaz and for a new place to live in comfort where you can keep your two cats has been heard, and we join you in bringing it before the Lord.
We thank God that you desire marriage as He designed it. Marriage is honorable and pure, and holiness in marriage is a chaste and orderly life together, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman where the two become one. It is not an impure state, but it is a state of much responsibility, and it is good to seek it with reverence and not with haste or with provision for the flesh to fulfill its desires, but with care for what is healthy and needful and with your heart set above all on spiritual things.
So we pray for you that you would know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, through whose blood alone we have salvation and access to the Father, and that you would trust Him fully for your daily needs. We ask the Father to provide for you a home that is safe and peaceful, and to supply what you need for health and not for wantonness, that you may use the world without abusing it and rejoice in His provision with contentment. We ask Him to care for you and for the creatures entrusted to you as you steward them well.
And concerning a husband, we ask that if it is the Lord's will, He would bring into your life a faithful man of integrity and kindness, one who walks with Christ and will honor the marriage covenant with purity and faithfulness, and that you would be prepared to honor that covenant in the same way, keeping yourselves pure and waiting upon the Lord without distraction.
