We join with you in prayer for your blood pressure to come down and remain stable, and we thank you for asking in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him we have access to the Father.
We know how concerning health struggles can be, and we are bringing your body before the Lord who is our healer and who cares deeply for you. Scripture reminds us that He is the one who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases in Psalm 103:3, and that He has promised For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh in Jeremiah 30:17. We also cling to His promise in Isaiah 41:10 where He says Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
We also remember that worry and anxiety can weigh on our hearts and bodies, and the Lord invites us to bring everything to Him. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus in Philippians 4:6-7. We pray that His perfect peace would guard your heart and mind and also bring calm and stability to your body.
We encourage you to continue to be a good steward of the body God has given you, for your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, which includes following wise medical counsel, resting well, and caring for yourself as the Lord leads, while trusting Him fully for healing and strength. Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers in 3 John 1:2 is our prayer for you.
Let us pray together. Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask that You would touch their body and cause their blood pressure to come down to a healthy and stable level and to remain steady. Lay Your healing hand upon them, calm their heart, and let Your peace rule in their body. Grant wisdom to any doctors and guidance in all decisions for care, and help them to rest in Your love and provision. We thank You that You are near, that You hear our prayers, and that You are our strength and our healer. We trust this need into Your gracious hands and ask for Your will to be done. Your request concerning your blood pressure has been brought before the Lord with sincere care, and we join with you in seeking His gracious hand upon your body.
We are reminded that our Lord is the great Physician, and that there is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ. As it is written, the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing virtue. He is the Sun of Righteousness risen with healing in His wings, and His blood speaks better things, not for condemnation but for mercy and life. While we rightly and speedily seek the help of the physician for bodily infirmity, we look above the means to the Lord Himself who gives skill to the physician and blessing to the remedy.
We pray that the Lord in His mercy would cause your blood pressure to come down and to remain stable, that He would calm your heart and strengthen your frame, and give you quietness of spirit and rest in His providence. May He guide those who care for you with wisdom, and may you know His sustaining presence day by day. Tell the case to Jesus as you would tell it to a trusted physician, for He is ready to hear it all and to consider it, and His touch still brings healing.
