We join with you in bringing this need before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for asking in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him we have access to the throne of grace.
We know how concerning it can be when our blood pressure is high and unstable, and we want to lift up both your body and your peace of mind to the Lord who is our healer. Scripture reminds us to cast our cares on Him and to trust Him with our health. We are told in Psalm 103:2-3 to bless Yahweh and not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins and who heals all your diseases. And in Jeremiah 30:17 He says, I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also cling to the promise in 3 John 1:2 that we pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers.
We also hear your desire for stability and rest, and we are reminded that worry and stress can weigh heavily on the body. Philippians 4:6-7 teaches us, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. A cheerful heart is good medicine as Proverbs 17:22 tells us, and we pray the Lord grants you that deep peace that helps both heart and body to rest.
Together we pray for you.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up our dear one to You. You know every beat of the heart and every measure of pressure in the body, for You formed us and You sustain us. We ask that You would touch this body and cause this blood pressure to come down to a healthy and stable level and to remain steady. Lay Your healing hand upon them, calm any anxiety or fear, and grant wisdom to the doctors and all who provide care. Help them to steward the body You have given, for we know our body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in us, which we have from God, and we are not our own, for we were bought with a price, therefore glorify God in our body and in our spirit, which are God's as 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 reminds us. Give guidance in daily choices, in rest, in food and drink, in activity and in trusting You. Let Your peace guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We thank You that You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble as Psalm 46:1 says, and we trust Your loving care. We ask this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus, amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek wise medical counsel and to follow the guidance given for your health, while also continuing to bring every concern to the Lord in prayer. He cares deeply for you and for your wellbeing. Keep resting in His presence, keep your heart stayed on Him, and trust that He hears and will answer according to His perfect will.
