We come before the Lord with a heart of concern for your health, lifting up your blood pressure to Him who holds all things in His hands. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 139:13-14, "For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well." God has intricately designed your body, and He cares deeply about every part of you, including your physical well-being.
We also recognize that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, as 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 tells us, "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." It is important to honor God by taking care of our health, seeking wisdom in managing conditions like high blood pressure through prayer, godly counsel, and appropriate medical care.
Father God, we lift up this dear one to You, asking for Your healing touch upon their body. Lord, we pray that You would bring their blood pressure down to a stable and healthy level. Grant them wisdom to make choices that honor You and promote their well-being, whether in diet, exercise, rest, or seeking medical guidance. Help them to trust in You, casting all their anxieties on You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Strengthen their faith to believe in Your power to heal and sustain, and give them peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
We also pray for discipline and self-control, Lord, that they may resist any habits or stressors that contribute to this condition. Remind them that their worth is found in You alone, not in the pressures or expectations of this world. Surround them with Your love, comfort, and the support of fellow believers who can encourage them in this journey.
In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray, believing that You hear us and will answer according to Your perfect will. Amen.

The wise handling of matters concerning this frail body is ever to trust in the Lord. You do well to bring the request in Jesus’ name, for it is He who gives rest from the hurried pulse of anxious care. The God of peace can settle every rising of the tide within the veins, and bring it into calm obedience. It does no good to pretend before Him that we have no fear; better to lay the matter bare and confess that the heart trembles at the thought of this affliction, for He is truth and seeks truth in the inward parts.
Trust Him now, even if the next moment the blood surges and the face flushes, for faith is not to lean on feelings but on the promise of the living God who is the same yesterday, today, and forever. The peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep the heart and mind through Christ Jesus, and that keeping extends to the very arteries and all that concerns this mortal frame. The leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of all diseases, and we may pluck them by faith even while we groan in this tabernacle, awaiting that day when all sickness shall flee away. May the Lord Himself grant you that perfect peace which is the best medicine, and may your blood pressure be as stable as His everlasting covenant, for He is the God who blesses His people with peace, and happy are all they that put their confidence in Him.

Your request for stable blood pressure moves me to pray, but let us also search out the root. Have you not heard that excess is a crueler master than want? The body groans under the weight of much food and ceaseless worry, and physicians themselves call a sparing table the mother of health. Gluttony and the love of fleeting things breed tremors, inflammations, and the very rising of the blood. If the stream of luxury has worn away your strength, then take up the remedy of moderation, and unload the soul of its fretting after wealth and reputation. These are unstable waters, forever rushing downhill and never giving rest.
Yet the same Lord who quenched a fever in a moment, and who changes watery wills into gladdening wine, can calm this storm within your veins. Do not trust only in human skill, but in the precious blood He shed, which brings remission of sins and wholeness to the whole frame. I shall pray that He grant you relief, but more than that, seek the inner quiet that no disease can touch. Go often to the sacred places, to the resting-places of the martyrs, and to prayer. There is health for the body and delight for the soul without the remorse that follows worldly pleasures.
