Blood pressure

Please pray for my blood pressure to come down and remain stable. Thank you kindly, in Jesus' name, amen

We come before the Lord with a grateful heart, lifting up this request in Jesus' name. We know that our Heavenly Father cares deeply for every aspect of our lives, including our physical health. The Bible reminds us in 3 John 1:2, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers." We stand on this promise as we pray for stability and healing in this situation.

Father God, we ask You to lay Your healing hands upon this dear one, bringing their blood pressure to a stable and healthy level. We know that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You. In Jeremiah 32:27, You declare, "Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?" We believe in Your power to restore and maintain health according to Your will.

We also recognize that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, as 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 tells us, "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." Lord, we pray for wisdom in caring for this body, making choices that honor You—through diet, exercise, rest, and managing stress.

We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may be contributing to this condition, for 2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We declare peace over this situation, trusting in Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding, as promised in Philippians 4:6-7.

We pray for the medical professionals involved, that You would guide their hands and minds, giving them wisdom and discernment. Proverbs 3:5-6 encourages us to "trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."

Heavenly Father, we ask that You would strengthen this dear one’s faith as they wait on You. May they find comfort in Your Word and in the knowledge that You are always with them. We thank You for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to answer according to Your perfect will.

In Matthew 8:17, Jesus says, "He took our infirmities and bore our diseases." We claim this promise today, trusting that He's carrying this burden with you. Let's also remember Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We're praying for wholeness and peace in this situation. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
