Blood pressure

We come before the Lord with hearts full of concern and faith, lifting up this request for stable blood pressure. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mothers’ wombs and sustains every beat of our hearts. Your Word tells us in Psalm 139:13-14, "For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well." Lord, we ask that You would bring healing and balance to this physical need, calming the pressures of the body just as You calm the storms in our lives.

We also recognize, Father, that our physical health is often connected to our emotional and spiritual well-being. Proverbs 17:22 reminds us, "A cheerful heart makes good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones." We pray that You would guard this heart and mind, replacing anxiety or stress with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7). Help us to cast all our cares upon You, knowing that You care deeply for us.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear or worry that may be contributing to this struggle, for Your Word declares in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We stand on the promise that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that healing today. Guide this one to wise choices in diet, exercise, and rest, and surround them with godly counsel and medical support as needed.

Father, we also lift up any underlying spiritual battles that may be manifesting in physical ways. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." We put on the full armor of God—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and Your Word—to stand firm against any attacks of the enemy.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the One through whom we have access to the Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved or healed, for Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We trust in You alone, Jesus, for Your power is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).

May this one experience Your peace, Your healing touch, and the assurance that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them feel Your presence in every moment of this journey. We thank You for Your faithfulness and love, and we commit this request into Your hands, knowing that You hear us and will answer according to Your perfect will. Amen.
