We come before the Lord with grateful hearts that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. We lift up your concern about your blood pressure, asking the Great Physician to bring healing and stability to your body. The Word of God reminds us in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh. We stand on this promise, believing that God is able to restore and maintain your health according to His will.
Father, we ask You to guide the hands of the medical professionals caring for this dear one. Grant them wisdom and discernment as they provide treatment and advice. Help this child of God to follow the instructions given, to rest when needed, and to trust in Your provision. We also pray for peace to guard their heart and mind, for anxiety can often exacerbate physical ailments. Philippians 4:6-7 tells us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Lord, we also ask that You would help them to examine their lifestyle and make any necessary changes that would honor You and promote health. This may include diet, exercise, and stress management. Remind them that their body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and they are to glorify You in their body (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Strengthen their resolve to make choices that reflect this truth.
We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or fear that may be seeking to take hold in this situation. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, this one is healed (Isaiah 53:5). We speak life and stability over their blood pressure, trusting that God is working all things together for good (Romans 8:28).
