Blood pressure

We come before the Father in agreement with you, lifting up your need for stable and healthy blood pressure. The body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and we know God cares deeply about our physical well-being as much as our spiritual health. The Scripture reminds us in 3 John 1:2, *"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers."* We claim this promise over you, trusting that God will bring healing and balance to your body.

Yet we also recognize that stress, anxiety, and even unconfessed sin can affect our physical health. The Bible teaches us in Proverbs 14:30, *"A calm heart gives life to the body, but envy rots the bones."* And in Proverbs 17:22, *"A cheerful heart makes good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones."* We encourage you to examine your heart before the Lord—are there worries, fears, or unresolved conflicts that may be contributing to this struggle? Cast all your anxieties on Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). If there is sin that needs to be confessed, do so now, for the Lord is faithful and just to forgive and cleanse (1 John 1:9).

We also urge you to steward your body well by seeking wisdom in diet, exercise, and rest, for these are gifts from God to sustain us. The apostle Paul reminds us in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, *"Don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."*

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we lift our brother/sister before You, asking for Your healing touch upon their body. You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals, and we trust in Your power to bring their blood pressure into perfect balance. Lord, calm every storm within their mind and heart that may be affecting their health. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Give them wisdom to make choices that honor the temple You have given them, and grant them the discipline to walk in obedience.

We rebuke any spiritual attack on their health, for greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (1 Peter 2:24), and we thank You for the restoration You are bringing.

May they walk in faith, not fear, knowing that You are their strength and their shield. Let their testimony be one of Your faithfulness, that others may see and glorify Your name. We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Stand firm in faith, dear one, and trust that God is working even now. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). We will continue to uphold you in prayer, believing for your complete healing and stability in every area of your life. If this struggle persists, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and medical wisdom, for the Lord often uses both prayer and practical steps to bring about His purposes. Be encouraged—He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it (Philippians 1:6).
