We join with you in calling on the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord over this man, and we praise God for your faith to plead the blood of Jesus over him. We agree that there is power in the blood and power in the name of Jesus, for it is written that we have been justified by his blood Romans 5:9 and that the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin 1 John 1:7. It is also written that whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved Romans 10:13 and Call to me, and I will answer you Jeremiah 33:3. We rejoice that you are crying out to Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved Acts 4:12.

We also lift up your desire for his healing, protection and peace. We pray for God's hand of protection to be upon him, for He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty Psalm 91:1 and He will give his angels charge over him to keep him in all his ways Psalm 91:11. We ask for the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, to guard his heart and his thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. For healing we remember that by his wounds we are healed Isaiah 53:5 and that God forgives all our iniquities and heals all our diseases Psalm 103:3.

We want to lovingly speak to your request that your relationship be blessed. We hear your heart for this man and for a very long, healthy and happy life together, and we pray that God will bless you both according to His perfect will. We believe in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman as God designed from the beginning, therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh Genesis 2:24. Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers Hebrews 13:4. If this is a courtship, we encourage you to pursue it with the goal of godly marriage to a fellow believer in Christ, for we are not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers 2 Corinthians 6:14. We gently rebuke any fornication or sexual intimacy outside of marriage, for we are called to flee sexual immorality and to honor God with our bodies 1 Corinthians 6:18, and we encourage you both to walk in purity and accountability before the Lord so that your future marriage, if it is His will, will be built on a foundation that honors Him. If you are not yet married, we pray that God will make His will clear whether this courtship should lead to marriage, and we pray for a godly husband and godly wife relationship that reflects Christ and the church.

We also encourage you to continue to trust not only in declaring protection but in surrendering to God's sovereign will and faithfulness, knowing that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28.

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ. We plead the blood of Jesus over this man from the top of his head to the soles of his feet, over his body and soul and spirit. We ask You to cover him with Your healing hand, to protect him from all harm and danger, to surround him with Your presence as a shield, and to pour out Your peace upon him. We speak the name of Jesus over his health and his life, asking that You would grant him a long life, health and wholeness according to Your will, and that You would draw him ever closer to Yourself. Lord, we lift up this relationship to You. If it is Your will, bless this courtship and lead it toward a holy marriage between a man and a woman that honors You in purity, faithfulness and lifelong commitment. Guard them both from temptation and help them to seek You first. Let Your will be done in their lives. We thank You that You hear us when we call on Your name, and we trust in Your faithful love. Your heartfelt cry for protection and healing has been heard, and we join you in bringing this dear one before the throne of grace in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

It is right and good to call upon the Name of Jesus, for there is healing power in Him and in His salvation. As you have pleaded the blood of Christ, we would point you to what that precious blood truly means. The blood of Jesus shed upon the cross is not an incantation but the covenant price of our cleansing from sin, as it is written, I will sprinkle clean water upon you and you shall be clean. From all your filthiness and from all your idols will I cleanse you. The least thing about Christ is healing, and the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. To be covered by His blood is to be found in Him by faith, pardoned, reconciled to God, and kept by His sovereign grace.

We do pray with you for this man's health of body and soul and spirit, for his protection and for true peace which comes from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ. We ask the Lord to keep him in His gracious care, to grant healing according to His perfect will, and above all to draw him into saving faith in Christ alone, for all spiritual blessings in heavenly places are in Christ, according as He has chosen us in Him. No blessing comes by chance, but by divine purpose.

Concerning your relationship, we also bring this before the Lord with care. Our desire is to pray in a way that honors God and seeks His best for you both. Scripture teaches that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that intimacy and living together belong within that covenant. We cannot ask God to bless any relationship apart from His holy design, but we do ask God to bless you both by making you holy and conforming your lives and your relationship to His will. If you are not yet joined in that covenant of marriage, we pray that God would lead you into purity, wisdom and separation unto Himself, that you may first know the personal blessing, I will bless you, and then be made a blessing to one another in a way that glorifies Christ. If you are married, we pray that your union would be strengthened to display His perfections and to be a testimony of His grace.

Therefore we pray that the Lord would bless you both with conviction of sin where needed, with faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, with a new heart and a new spirit, and with grace to walk in His statutes. May He grant you health and peace as seems good in His sight, keep you from evil, and cause you to grow in holiness. May you continue to bless God who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in Christ, and may your lives together, in whatever circumstance He has placed you, be made a blessing to others for His name's sake.

Thank you for sharing your heart and your earnest desire to see this man kept safe and well. We hear your love and concern for him, and we join you in bringing him before the Lord in prayer.

Scripture teaches us that the blood of Jesus was shed once for our redemption and forgiveness of sins, and that through faith in Him alone we are brought into every spiritual blessing. That is the greatest blessing we can pray for any person, that he would know Christ, be forgiven, made a son of God, and kept in Him. The New Testament reminds us that spiritual blessings surpass merely earthly ones, and that even as we pray for health and protection, we are told in this world we will have tribulation, while our true and lasting blessings are secured in Christ for eternity.

So we will pray with you for his health in body and soul and spirit, for his protection and peace, according to the wisdom and mercy of God who is the giver of all good things. We ask that the Lord would draw him to salvation through Jesus Christ alone if he does not yet know Him, and would strengthen him to walk in faith, holiness, and obedience.

Regarding your relationship, we want to pray for you both in a way that honors God. We do not simply ask God to bless every relationship as it is, but we ask Him to make our relationships holy and conformed to His will. God has given marriage as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, and He calls those who are not yet married to live in purity and self control, reserving sexual intimacy and living together for within that covenant. So our prayer for you is that God would give you both wisdom, purity, and clear direction, that your relationship would be shaped by His Word, and that if it is His will for you to move toward marriage, it would be built on faith in Christ and a shared commitment to follow Him. If it is not His will, we pray He would give you grace to walk in His best path.

Father in heaven, we lift this man before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We thank You for Your love and Your power to save. We ask that You would have mercy on him, keep him under Your care, grant him health and peace as You see fit, and above all draw him into a living faith in Jesus and keep him there. Guard his body and his soul, lead him away from sin and danger, and fill him with Your Spirit. For the one who prayed, grant wisdom, holiness, and trust in Your good will.
