Father in Heaven -- Thank You for Your light and truth let them lead us completely through life's journey to the ultimate goal Your Holy Hill, Ps 43:3. Thank You for drawing us to Jesus, Jn 6:44, allowing us to understand and believe in Christ, Matt 11:25, Matt 16:17, John 6:29, 1 Cor 1:30, Eph 2:8-9, Phil 1:29. Thank You for faith in the blood of Jesus Christ Your Son, Rom 3:25, which cleanses us from all sin, 1 Jn 1:7! Thank You for the power of the stripes that wounded Jesus that heal us and make us whole, Isa 53:5, Matt 8:17, 1 Pet 2:24! And thank You for raising Jesus from the dead, defeating death, and sending The Holy Spirit, the Counselor, Advocate, Helper, Intercessor and Giver of Life, John 6:63.

We specifically ask for protection from deception and lies, Matt 24:4-8, John 8:44, Rev 12:9, from greed, Lk 12:15, Heb 13:5 and may You perform it by granting contentment, 1 Tim 6:6-9, Phil 4:11-13. Let Your Bride walk in the light, 1 Jn 1:7, help us make ourselves ready, Rev 19:7-10. It seems only You can do this for You who begin a good work ultimately bring it to completion, Phil 1:6, You perfect that which concerns us, Ps 138:8, perhaps we do not have because we do not ask, James 4:2? May it not be said on that day that we did not ask for the holiness without which no one will see You, Lord, Heb 12:14. Jesus clearly taught, "Blessed are the pure in heart , for THEY shall see God, Matt 5:8, when we come out of their midst and are separate, 2 Cor 6:17-18, perfect holiness in the fear of The Lord, 2 Cor 7:1, You are ready to punish all disobedience once our obedience is complete, 2 Cor 10:6.

Protect us all from sin, Zeph 3:13, Ps 119:11, Rev 14:5, let us not enter into temptation, Mk 14:38, Lk 11:4, keep us from the evil one, John 17:15, and keep us on Your path of increasing clarity, Prov 4:18, Col 1:9, Col 4:12, Phil 1:9-11. Keep us especially from false believers, 2 Cor 11:26, 2 Tim 3:5, Tit 1:16, deceivers, 2 Tim 3:13, 2 Jn 1:7, deception, 2 Thes 2:9-10, 1 John 5:19, by washing us with Christ's water of the water of the Word, Eph 5:26, The Word of Truth, Eph 1:13, 2 Cor 6:7. Sanctify us in Your Truth, Your Word is Truth, John 17:17, James 1:18, 2 Tim 3:16, especially when rightly divided, 2 Tim 2:15, with careful attention to our lives and teaching, 1 Tim 4:16.

Protect us from the dragon's false doctrine and persecution spewing across the world, Rev 12:15. Help restrain these evils, 2 Thes 2:7, and use godly government to restrain and punish evil, 1 Tim 2:1-4; Rev 12:16, Rom 13:1-7. We pray for grace to stay on the alert, Mk 13:33, for strength to escape all that's coming and stand before The Son of Man, Luke 21:36.

We ask antichrist be revealed, slain and annihilated, 2 Thes 2:8, that the saints are guarded from buying into his system, Rev 13:6, and that he, the false prophet and devil be fully and finally sentenced forever, Rev 20:10. May we fear you, Ecclesiastes 12:13, Rev 14:6-7, and knowing the fear of The Lord persuade people to prepare for The Judgement Seat of Christ, 2 Cor 5:10-11. Help us be wise and win souls, Prov 11:30, lead many to righteousness, Dan 12:3, instruct many, Mal 2:5-6, Matt 28:20.

With thanksgiving we offer these requests for ourselves, our family, friends, church-mates, pastors and online praying believer-friends, Heb 10:25, so we have fellowship, 1 Jn 1:2-3, test the spirits, 1 Jn 4:1, walk in light, 1 Jn 1:5-10, that our whole body may be full of light with no dark part in it, Luke 11:36, without hidden sin or deception, 2 Cor 4:2, like the message John heard from You, Jesus, and preached to us, about You being light and in You is no darkness at all, 1 Jn 1:4-10, and may the peace of God guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7, Amen, Rev 3:14, 2 Cor 1:20

We join you in this comprehensive cry for the covering of the blood of Jesus over us, our families, our children, our friends, our churches, all prayer and financial partners, new believers, those who are lost and will be saved, those recently saved, and those who have heard the Word, and we count it a privilege to agree together with you for protection from sin and from the evil one.

We love your heart to plead the blood of Jesus in faith, for it is by faith in His blood that we are justified and cleansed. As it is written, whom God sent to be an atoning sacrifice through faith in his blood Romans 3:25 and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin 1 John 1:7. We overcome because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of our testimony Revelation 12:11, not as a formula but as confidence in the finished work of Christ who was wounded for our transgressions and by his stripes we are healed Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24. We thank the Father with you for drawing us to Jesus, for no one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him John 6:44, and for opening our eyes to understand and believe in Christ Matthew 16:17, John 6:29, Ephesians 2:8-9, and for raising Jesus from the dead and sending the Holy Spirit, the Counselor and Helper John 14:26, John 6:63.

We agree with you for deliverance from evil as Jesus taught us to pray, deliver us from the evil one Matthew 6:13, and as Jesus prayed for us, that you would keep them from the evil one John 17:15 and that we would not enter into temptation Mark 14:38. We join you in asking for protection from deception and lies, for the enemy is a liar and the father of lies John 8:44 and deceives the whole world Revelation 12:9, and for protection from the working of Satan with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all deception of wickedness for those who are being lost 2 Thessalonians 2:9-10. We ask to be guarded and sanctified by the Word, for Your Word is truth John 17:17, and the washing of water with the Word Ephesians 5:26 cleanses us, and all Scripture is God-breathed and profitable 2 Timothy 3:16 when rightly divided 2 Timothy 2:15. Keep us on the path of increasing clarity as the path of the righteous is as the dawning light that shines more and more until the perfect day Proverbs 4:18 and keep us from false believers having a form of godliness but denying its power 2 Timothy 3:5, Titus 1:16 and from deceivers 2 John 1:7.

We also agree for deliverance from greed Luke 12:15, Hebrews 13:5 and that God would grant us contentment which with godliness is great gain 1 Timothy 6:6 and strength to be content in whatever state we are Philippians 4:11-13. We pray that we would walk in the light as he is in the light 1 John 1:7 and make ourselves ready as the Bride Revelation 19:7, perfecting holiness in the fear of God 2 Corinthians 7:1 and coming out and being separate 2 Corinthians 6:17. You rightly remind us to pursue the holiness without which no one will see the Lord Hebrews 12:14 and that blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God Matthew 5:8, and we ask the Lord who began a good work in us to perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ Philippians 1:6, for He perfects that which concerns us Psalm 138:8.

We stand with you for the restraint of evil through godly government Romans 13:1-4, 1 Timothy 2:1-2 and for the restraining work of the Holy Spirit 2 Thessalonians 2:7 until the lawless one is revealed and the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by the brightness of his coming 2 Thessalonians 2:8 and that the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire Revelation 20:10. We ask for grace to stay alert Mark 13:33 and strength to escape all these things that will happen and to stand before the Son of Man Luke 21:36, with our whole body full of light having no dark part Luke 11:36, our hearts and minds guarded by the peace of God which surpasses all understanding Philippians 4:7.

We pray together now, Father in heaven, we thank You for Your light and truth, Oh send out your light and your truth, let them lead us Psalm 43:3 and lead us completely through life's journey to Your holy hill. Thank You for the blood of Jesus that cleanses, the stripes that heal, and the resurrection that gives life. We plead by faith the merit of that blood over every person named in this request, over families and children and churches and every new believer and every lost soul You intend to save. Keep us from sin Psalm 119:11, Zephaniah 3:13, Revelation 14:5, keep us from deception, keep us from greed, and establish us in Your Word, in prayer, in preaching and teaching, in church attendance and fellowship Hebrews 10:25, in praise and worship, in intercession and thanksgiving and evangelism. Fill us with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding Colossians 1:9, that we may be fully assured in all the will of God Colossians 4:12. Help us to fear You Ecclesiastes 12:13, Revelation 14:7 and knowing the fear of the Lord to persuade men, making ready for the judgment seat of Christ 2 Corinthians 5:10-11. Make us wise to win souls Proverbs 11:30 and to turn many to righteousness Daniel 12:3, instructing many in Your ways Malachi 2:6, Matthew 28:20. Let the peace of God guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus as we make our requests known to You with thanksgiving Philippians 4:6-7. We ask all this in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus Christ, for there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved Acts 4:12, and it is through Him we have access to the Father John 14:6. We were moved by the breadth of your prayer and the love you carry for so many, your family, children, friends, churches, prayer and financial partners, and new believers coming to faith. Your longing to walk in purity, to stay clear of deception and temptation, and to see others kept in the light is beautiful, and we join you in it.

What you described is at its heart a desire for a holy life that lasts. We have found that growth like that happens gradually, almost imperceptibly, over a lifetime with highs and lows, not all at once. It is not something we can manufacture by trying harder. It grows as we stay close to the Lord through His Word, through honest prayer, through worship that turns our attention to Him, and through fellowship where we encourage one another. And it depends completely on the Holy Spirit, since only God makes things grow. His work in each of us will not look exactly the same, because He knows the unique conditions each of us needs to grow.

One steady next step that helps keep this kind of wide, faithful intercession from becoming heavy is to stay rooted week by week in a local fellowship where you can hear the Word taught carefully, pray with others, and worship together, letting God shape you over the long haul.

Father, thank You for drawing us to Jesus and for the cleansing we have through His blood. Keep this dear one and all those they have named under Your care, guard their hearts and minds in Christ, give them discernment and contentment, and lead them in Your light and truth day by day. Make them alert and at peace as they trust You to complete the good work You have begun. In Jesus name, amen.

Your many prayers and thanksgivings have been read with gratitude to God, and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace.

We bless the Lord with you for His light and His truth which lead us, for His drawing to Jesus without which no man can come, for faith in the blood of Jesus Christ His Son which cleanses from all sin, for the stripes by which we are healed, for the resurrection of our Lord and the gift of the Holy Spirit who is our Counselor and Helper and Giver of Life. All things in the new creation are of God, and every mercy you have named comes from His hand alone, through Jesus Christ alone, who is the only way of salvation.

We join you also in that ancient and needful prayer which our Lord taught us, Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. This is not a prayer to be offered lightly while we run willingly into temptation. Grace will make us resolute not to go where we cannot honestly ask God to keep us. The prayer is the cry of one who wants no parley with Satan or with the world, who would be kept from severe encounters if it be the Lord's will, and who if he must be tried, begs that the temptation may do him no hurt. God does not set a screen about His people to keep them from all suffering or all trial, but He giveth us the victory. He does not remove us from the conflict, but He provides a way of escape and keeps us in it.

And with that prayer we must join the pursuit of holiness, for without holiness, practical, personal, active, vital holiness, no man shall see the Lord. It is not enough to speak of imputed holiness, we are to follow holiness as a man follows a calling, to keep ourselves unspotted from the world. There is a clean way and it is called the way of holiness, and the unclean shall not pass over it. Charity without purity will be of no use. We may perish as well with true doctrines as with false if we pervert true doctrine into an excuse for sin. But where grace has truly changed the heart, there is a new nature that abhors sin and thirsts for holiness, not from terror of damnation but from love to the Father.

Take comfort also that the victory of our Lord Jesus Christ is sure. When the Head was victorious over the foe, every member of His mystical body was virtually a conqueror in the conquering Head. He has overcome the world, and by His help we shall overcome the lesser temptations, since He went on to victory over the greatest that can be imagined. The promise stands because it is a divine promise, and He who bore our iniquities must rise from all His sorrows to a glorious victory.

Therefore let us pray with you that the Lord will wash us with the water of the Word, sanctify us in His truth, guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, keep us from entering into temptation, keep us from the evil one, and keep us on the path that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. May He keep us from false teachers and deceivers, from the dragon's false doctrine and from greed, and grant us instead contentment and a walk in the light, having no dark part, without hidden sin or deception. May He set His fear in our hearts that we shall not depart from Him, for He who begins a good work will bring it to completion and perfect that which concerneth us.

We will pray for you, for your family and children, for your friends and churches, for financial partners and new believers, for the lost who shall yet be saved and for those lately saved, that you may all be kept watchful, on the alert, abiding in the Word, in prayer, in preaching and teaching, in fellowship and church attendance, in praise and worship, in intercession and thanksgiving and evangelism, and that you may stand before the Son of Man with joy.
