The Heart-a Den of Evil
Do Not Sin Against the Child
Which Church?
We join you in this comprehensive and deeply biblical prayer and we say amen to your heart cry for covering, cleansing, holiness, and protection from deception and evil.

We thank our Father in heaven with you for drawing us to Jesus, for no one can come to Him unless the Father draws him John 6:44, and for revealing Christ to us not by flesh and blood but by the Father Matt 16:17. We agree that we are saved by grace through faith and that not of ourselves, it is the gift of God Eph 2:8, and that our faith itself rests in the blood of Jesus Christ Rom 3:25 which cleanses us from all sin 1 John 1:7. We thank Him for the wounds of Jesus by which we are healed Isa 53:5, 1 Pet 2:24 and for raising Jesus from the dead and sending the Holy Spirit who gives life John 6:63.

We stand together under the blood of Jesus and plead that covering over each of you, your families, your children, your friends, your churches, all who pray with you, your financial partners, and the new believers and those who will yet be saved. We pray as you prayed, lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one Matt 6:13, and as Jesus prayed, keep us from the evil one John 17:15. They overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony Rev 12:11.

We agree with you in asking for protection from deception, for Jesus warned, be careful that no one leads you astray Matt 24:4, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one 1 John 5:19, and that ancient serpent who deceives the whole world Rev 12:9 still works through the father of lies John 8:44 and through the working of Satan with all power and lying wonders and deception of unrighteousness 2 Thess 2:9-10. We ask the Lord to guard us by His truth, for His Word is truth John 17:17, the word of truth Eph 1:13, and we are washed by the washing of water with the word Eph 5:26. Sanctify us, Lord, keep our hearts with Your word hidden within us that we might not sin against You Ps 119:11, and keep our path as the shining light that shines more and more until the perfect day Prov 4:18.

We join you in praying for deliverance from greed and for godly contentment, for the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil 1 Tim 6:10, and we are exhorted to be content with what we have Heb 13:5, for godliness with contentment is great gain 1 Tim 6:6 and we have learned in whatever state to be content Phil 4:11.

We pray for the Bride of Christ to walk in the light as He is in the light 1 John 1:7, to make herself ready Rev 19:7, pursuing the holiness without which no one will see the Lord Heb 12:14, for blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God Matt 5:8. We ask Him who began a good work in us to perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ Phil 1:6, for He will perfect that which concerns us Ps 138:8. We ask boldly, knowing we do not have because we do not ask James 4:2, and we ask for that purity and separation as we come out from among them and are separate 2 Cor 6:17 and perfect holiness in the fear of God 2 Cor 7:1.

We pray for protection from false brothers 2 Cor 11:26, from those having a form of godliness but denying its power 2 Tim 3:5, from deceivers and those who lead astray 2 Tim 3:13, 2 John 1:7, and we ask for diligence to handle correctly the word of truth 2 Tim 2:15 and to take heed to ourselves and to our teaching 1 Tim 4:16. Keep us, Lord, from entering into temptation Mark 14:38, keep our whole body full of light having no dark part Luke 11:36, without hidden things of shame 2 Cor 4:2.

We agree in prayer against the flood of the dragon's deception and persecution Rev 12:15, asking You to restrain evil 2 Thess 2:7 and to use godly authority to punish evil and praise what is good Rom 13:1-4, and we pray as You taught us to pray for all who are in high places that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence 1 Tim 2:2. Give us grace to watch Mark 13:33 and to be counted worthy to escape all these things that will happen and to stand before the Son of Man Luke 21:36.

We pray as you prayed that the lawless one will be revealed and destroyed by the breath of the Lord's mouth and brought to nothing by the brightness of His coming 2 Thess 2:8, and that the saints will not be deceived into worshiping or receiving the mark of the beast Rev 13:16-17, and that the devil, the beast and the false prophet will be cast into the lake of fire forever Rev 20:10.

We ask that the fear of God would be upon us, for this is the whole duty of man Eccl 12:13 and fear God and give Him glory Rev 14:7, and knowing the fear of the Lord we would persuade men 2 Cor 5:11 as we stand before the judgment seat of Christ 2 Cor 5:10. Make us wise to win souls Prov 11:30, to turn many to righteousness Dan 12:3, and to faithfully teach all that Jesus commanded Matt 28:20.

Father, we thank You for Your light and truth, oh send out Your light and Your truth, let them lead us to Your holy hill Ps 43:3, lead us in a plain path, fill us with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding Col 1:9, that we may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God Col 4:12 and that our love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and discernment Phil 1:9. We offer these requests with thanksgiving, letting our requests be made known to You Phil 4:6, that Your peace which surpasses all understanding will guard our hearts and our thoughts in Christ Jesus Phil 4:7.

We pray all of this in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 and no one comes to the Father except through Him John 14:6. We trust His blood, His Word, His Spirit, and His soon return, and we say amen and amen Rev 3:14, for all the promises of God in Him are yes and amen to the glory of God through us 2 Cor 1:20.

We were so encouraged to read your prayer and the deep care you carry for your family, children, friends, churches, and new believers. Your thankfulness for being drawn to Jesus and cleansed by His blood comes through so clearly, and so does your longing to walk in light and truth and to see others guarded from deception and evil.

We hear how much you want holiness and protection not just for yourself but for the whole body around you. That kind of intercession is a gift to others, and we join you in bringing those people before the Lord.

One thing that has helped us is remembering that growing in these things you named, prayer, the Word, gathering together, fellowship, worship, thanksgiving, is more like training than trying. Like preparing for a long race, it is the small, steady practices over time that shape us, not a single effort to get everything right at once. God is patient as He forms us, and He is the one who carries the good work He begins through to completion. Staying close to Him and to His people in ordinary, faithful ways is how He keeps our hearts clear and steady.

Father, we thank You for Your light and truth that lead us, for drawing us to Jesus and for His blood that cleanses. We ask You to keep this dear family and all they have lifted to You close to Yourself, guard their hearts and minds in Christ, and lead them away from temptation and evil. Give them contentment, clarity, and fellowship as they walk with You day by day. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your earnest and overflowing prayers have been received with thanksgiving, and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace. We bless God with you for His light and truth which lead us to His holy hill, for His drawing to Jesus according to John 6:44, for faith in the blood of Jesus Christ His Son which cleanses us from all sin, and for the power of those stripes by which we are healed. We rejoice that He has raised Jesus from the dead, defeating death, and has sent the Holy Spirit, the Counselor and Helper and Giver of Life.

We join you in pleading the precious blood of Christ over yourselves, your families, your children, your friends, your churches, and all who labour in prayer and in the gospel, whether financial partners or new believers. That voice from the excellent Glory still speaks, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, and Infinite Mercy snaps the bands and sets the captive free. If you are a child of God you shall hear that voice when you are brought into peril and trouble, for God has given commandment to save you and you shall be saved, saved from yourself and from all the attacks of your old sins, saved from the devil, saved from evil company. That deliverance is an eternal one, nor shall the infernal lion ever be able to rend one sheep that the Great Shepherd keeps.

We pray with you that you may be kept from sin and from entering into temptation, that you may be kept from the evil one, and that your path may be as the shining light that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. Deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. Where we look for justification there must we also look for sanctification, for as we are justified through Jesus Christ we must also expect to receive sanctification from a heavenly source. He has delivered us from the fascinating power of sin, from the power of darkness, and He has taught us the mischief that comes from loving the world and the things thereof.

Therefore we entreat the Lord to wash you with the water of the Word, to sanctify you in His truth, for His Word is truth, and to keep you unspotted from the world. When assailed by temptation may you say, How can I do this great wickedness and sin against God, and may you cry daily to God to preserve you from evil, covered with an invisible shield wherever you go. We ask that He guard you from deception and lies, from the deceivers who wax worse and worse deceiving and being deceived, from greed and the love of money, granting instead holy contentment, and from all false doctrine and persecution. May you be kept by the Word rightly divided, by prayer, by preaching and teaching, by church attendance and fellowship, by praise and worship, by intercession and thanksgiving and evangelism, and by the testimony of the blood of the Lamb.

We pray that you may walk in the light as He is in the light, having fellowship one with another, testing the spirits, with your whole body full of light and no dark part in it, without hidden sin or deception. May you make yourselves ready as the Bride, perfecting holiness in the fear of the Lord, pursuing that holiness without which no man shall see the Lord, for blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God. And when affliction comes, may you be able to say with a calm and true conclusion from faith in God, The Lord has chastened me sorely but He has not given me over unto death, I shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord.

Look unto Him and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth, for He is God and there is none else. It is all you have to do. Look out of yourself and away from yourself, and look to Christ. May the Lord keep you watchful and on the alert, with strength to escape all that is coming and to stand before the Son of Man, fearing God and persuading men, wise to win souls and to lead many to righteousness. May the peace of God which passeth all understanding guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, till He who has begun a good work in you will perfect it and bring it to completion.
