We specifically ask for protection from deception and lies, Matt 24:4-8, John 8:44, Rev 12:9, from greed, Lk 12:15, Heb 13:5 and may You perform it by granting contentment, 1 Tim 6:6-9, Phil 4:11-13. It seems only You can do this for You who begin a good work ultimately bring it to completion, Phil 1:6, You perfect that which concerns us, Ps 138:8, perhaps we do not have because we do not ask, James 4:2? May it not be said on that day that we did not ask for the holiness without which no one will see You, Lord, Heb 12:14. Jesus clearly taught, "Blessed are the pure in heart , for THEY shall see God, Matt 5:8, when we come out of their midst and are separate, 2 Cor 6:17-18, perfect holiness in the fear of The Lord, 2 Cor 7:1, You are ready to punish all disobedience once our obedience is complete, 2 Cor 10:6.

Protect us all from sin, Zeph 3:13, Ps 119:11, Rev 14:5, let us not enter into temptation, Mk 14:38, Lk 11:4, keep us from the evil one, John 17:15, and keep us on Your path of increasing clarity, Prov 4:18, Col 1:9, Col 4:12, Phil 1:9-11. Sanctify us in Your Truth, Your Word is Truth, John 17:17, James 1:18, 2 Tim 3:16, especially when rightly divided, 2 Tim 2:15, with careful attention to our lives and teaching, 1 Tim 4:16.

Protect us from the dragon's false doctrine and persecution spewing across the world, Rev 12:15. Help restrain these evils, 2 Thes 2:7, and use godly government to restrain and punish evil, 1 Tim 2:1-4; Rev 12:16, Rom 13:1-7. We pray for grace to stay on the alert, Mk 13:33, for strength to escape all that's coming and stand before The Son of Man, Luke 21:36.

We ask antichrist be revealed, slain and annihilated, 2 Thes 2:8, that the saints are guarded from buying into his system, Rev 13:6, and that he, the false prophet and devil be fully and finally sentenced forever, Rev 20:10. Help for Seekers of the Light
Do Not Sin Against the Child
A Passion for Souls
We join with you in this urgent and scriptural cry and we plead together the blood of Jesus over you, over our families, our friends, our churches, all our prayer and financial partners, the lost who will yet be saved, those who have recently been saved, and all who have heard the Word, that we would be kept from deception.

We agree that deception is the great danger of this hour. The Scripture warns us that the coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all deception of wickedness for those who are being lost, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved, 2 Thess 2:9-10. We also remember that the whole world lies in the power of the evil one, 1 John 5:19, and that Satan deceives the whole world, Rev 12:9, for he is a liar and the father of lies, John 8:44. Jesus Himself warned, Be careful that no one leads you astray, Matt 24:4.

So we pray together for guarding by the means God has ordained, by the Word, by prayer, by preaching and teaching, by church attendance and fellowship, by praise and worship, by intercession and thanksgiving and evangelism, for they overcame him because of the Lamb's blood, and because of the word of their testimony, Rev 12:11.

Father in heaven, we thank You for Your light and Your truth, let them lead us, let them bring us to Your holy hill, Ps 43:3. We thank You that no one can come to Jesus unless You the Father draw him, John 6:44, and that You have hidden these things from the wise and revealed them to infants, Matt 11:25, and that flesh and blood has not revealed Christ to us but our Father who is in heaven, Matt 16:17. We thank You that faith itself is Your gift, for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, Eph 2:8, and that it has been granted in the behalf of Christ not only to believe in Him, Phil 1:29. We thank You for faith in the blood of Jesus Christ whom God sent to be an atoning sacrifice through faith in his blood, Rom 3:25, and that the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin, 1 John 1:7. We thank You for the stripes that wounded Jesus, that by His wounds we were healed, Isa 53:5, 1 Pet 2:24, and for raising Jesus from the dead and sending the Holy Spirit, for it is the Spirit who gives life, John 6:63, to be our Counselor, Advocate and Helper.

We ask You now to keep us from deception and lies and from greed, for You have said Keep your life free from the love of money, and be content with what you have, Heb 13:5, and to take heed and keep yourselves from all covetousness, Luke 12:15. Grant us godliness with contentment which is great gain, 1 Tim 6:6, and the secret to be content in whatever circumstances we are, Phil 4:11. Let Your Bride walk in the light as You are in the light, 1 John 1:7, and make herself ready, for the marriage of the Lamb has come and his wife has made herself ready, Rev 19:7. We trust You who began a good work in us will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ, Phil 1:6, for You will perfect that which concerns us, Ps 138:8, and we ask because we know we do not have because we do not ask, James 4:2. We do ask for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord, Heb 12:14, for blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God, Matt 5:8.

We pray You would keep us from sin and keep Your Word hidden in our hearts that we might not sin against You, Ps 119:11, and keep us from entering into temptation, for the spirit indeed is willing but the flesh is weak, Mark 14:38, and bring us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one, Luke 11:4. We echo Jesus own prayer that You would keep us from the evil one, John 17:15, and keep us on the path of the righteous which is as the dawning light that shines more and more until the perfect day, Prov 4:18, that we may be filled with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, Col 1:9, and stand perfect and complete in all the will of God, Col 4:12.

Wash us with the washing of water with the Word, Eph 5:26, sanctify us in Your truth, Your word is truth, John 17:17, for all Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, 2 Tim 3:16, as we give diligence to present ourselves approved to God rightly handling the word of truth, 2 Tim 2:15, and take heed to ourselves and to our teaching, 1 Tim 4:16. By that Word guard us from false brothers, 2 Cor 11:26, from those holding a form of godliness but having denied its power, 2 Tim 3:5, from deceivers and the antichrist who do not confess that Jesus Christ came in the flesh, 2 John 1:7, for evil men and impostors will wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived, 2 Tim 3:13.

We ask You to restrain the dragon who spews out water like a river to sweep us away, Rev 12:15, for the mystery of lawlessness already works, only there is one who restrains now until he is taken out of the way, 2 Thess 2:7. Use godly government as You ordained, for there is no authority except from God and that which exists has been ordained by God to be an avenger for wrath to him who does evil, Rom 13:1-4, and as the earth helped the woman, Rev 12:16. We pray for all who are in high places that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence, 1 Tim 2:2. Grant us grace to watch and stay alert, Mark 13:33, and to watch and pray always that we may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will happen and to stand before the Son of Man, Luke 21:36.

We pray that the lawless one will be revealed in Your timing and that the Lord Jesus will kill him with the breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by the brightness of his coming, 2 Thess 2:8, and that Your saints will be guarded from worshiping him and from his system, Rev 13:7-8, and that the devil and the false prophet will finally be thrown into the lake of fire forever, Rev 20:10. Teach us to fear You and keep Your commandments for this is the whole duty of man, Eccl 12:13, and to fear Him who made heaven and earth, Rev 14:7, and knowing the fear of the Lord we would persuade men, for we must all be revealed before the judgment seat of Christ, 2 Cor 5:10-11. Make us wise to win souls, for he who is wise wins souls, Prov 11:30, and to turn many to righteousness to shine as the stars forever, Dan 12:3, as we go and make disciples teaching them to observe all things You commanded, Matt 28:20.

We offer all this with thanksgiving for ourselves, our families, friends, fellow church members and pastors, and all praying friends, not forsaking our own assembling together as the custom of some is, Heb 10:25, that we may have fellowship with one another and with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ, 1 John 1:3, that we may test the spirits whether they are of God, 1 John 4:1, and walk in the light as He is in the light, 1 John 1:7, so that our whole body may be full of light having no part dark, Luke 11:36, renouncing the hidden things of shame and not walking in craftiness nor handling the word of God deceitfully, 2 Cor 4:2. Let the peace of God which surpasses all understanding guard our hearts and our thoughts in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:7, for You are the Amen, the faithful and true witness, Rev 3:14, and all Your promises find their Yes in Him, 2 Cor 1:20. We ask and agree for all these things in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

We were so encouraged to read your heartfelt cry for protection and purity for your families, churches and friends. Your desire to walk in light and to see those around you kept from deception is a beautiful reflection of love for Christ and for His people.

We hear how deeply you want to stay grounded when so much confusion is swirling. One thing that has helped many believers is to think of staying rooted less as trying hard in a moment and more as steady training over time. Small, faithful rhythms like opening the Word, praying honestly, hearing faithful preaching, and meeting with trusted believers do not change us overnight, but practiced together they slowly form a Christ-centered life and sharpen our ability to recognize what is true.

If it helps, you might choose one or two of those rhythms to keep especially steady this season with a friend or pastor who knows you, so you can test what you are hearing and encourage one another.

Father, thank You for drawing us to Jesus and for the cleansing we have in Him. Keep our brother and all those he loves close to You, guard their hearts and minds in Christ, and lead them in Your light and truth day by day. Make them ready to love You and to share Your hope with others. In Jesus' name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer against deception is most timely and most needful, for the age is full of delusion and the prince of darkness still prowls as a deceiver of the whole world. It is well that you plead the blood of Jesus and the keeping power of the Word, for there is no other refuge for the soul.

We join you in thanksgiving to the Father who has drawn you to Christ, for no man can come except the Father draw him, and who has given you to understand and to believe through grace. Faith in the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses from all sin, and by His stripes we are healed, and by His resurrection we have life through the Holy Spirit who is our Counselor and Helper. Cling to that old fashioned Gospel in all its simplicity, for there is nothing that can take the place of it. The substitutionary sacrifice of Christ is the only ground of acceptance, and he that builds on anything else builds a house that will tumble about his ears when most he needs its shelter.

You do well to ask to be guarded by the Word, by prayer, by faithful preaching and teaching, by church fellowship and attendance, by praise and worship and thanksgiving and evangelism. Sanctify us in Thy truth, Thy Word is truth. It is by the washing of water by the Word that Christ cleanses His church, and by careful attention to that Word rightly divided and to life and doctrine together that we are kept from the evil one and from the snares of false believers and deceivers. Test the spirits, walk in the light as He is in the light, and have fellowship one with another, for in Him is no darkness at all.

Take heed that you make not the high doctrines of grace a thorn hedge to keep you from Christ. They were never meant to be a chevaux de frise to keep a longing sinner from the Tree of Life, but an open door. Whosoever will may come, and him that cometh Christ will in no wise cast out. There never was a pining, longing sinner that was long kept away from Christ, for when he wanted Christ, Christ wanted him a hundred times as much. So come at once, fresh as you are, and trust only in Him.

At the same time be watchful, for men will run to a false peace of their own conceiving though God Himself be in arms against them, and we cannot with all judgment keep our churches free from hypocrisy without the Lord's own keeping. Let not doctrine be held without hatred of sin, for if you do not hate sin it matters not what doctrine you profess. Let the peace of God guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, and let your whole body be full of light with no dark part, without hidden sin or deception.

We pray with you and for you, for your family and friends, for your churches and pastors, for all who labor with you in prayer and in giving, for the lost who shall yet be saved and for those newly born again and for all who have heard the Word. May the Lord keep you from temptation and from the evil one, lead you in the path that shineth more and more unto the perfect day, and make you to increase in knowledge and discernment that you may be pure and blameless. May He grant you contentment and keep you from greed, make you holy without which no man shall see the Lord, and perfect that which concerneth you, for He who hath begun a good work will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.

May the Lord restrain the dragon's rage and his false doctrine, and use all lawful means to restrain evil, and keep you alert and praying that you may escape all these things and stand before the Son of Man. May you fear God and persuade men, being wise to win souls and to turn many to righteousness, to the praise of Him who overcame by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of His testimony.

We commend you to Him who is able to keep you from falling, trusting that His light and His truth shall lead you to His holy hill. Amen.
