Thank you for sharing what you are going through and for asking for prayer. We have heard your request and we are bringing you before the Lord.
We are praying for your body right now. A blood clot is serious and we thank God that the doctors noticed the swelling in your leg and found it when they did. We are asking God for healing and protection over you, for wisdom for your medical team as they treat the clot, the bronchitis and the arthritis you have been dealing with this year, and for peace and strength as you are monitored and recover. Please continue to follow your doctors' guidance closely and let those caring for you know of any changes.
We are also praying for your conversation with the one you are courting. Long distance is difficult, and yet true love shows itself in patience, kindness and long suffering, bearing with one another through trials and remaining present even across distance. We pray that God will give you both a conversation that is honest and real, encouraging and even joyful, and that it will build you up and point you to Him.
Regarding your courtship, we want to pray for you in a way that honors God. We will not ask God to simply bless every relationship as it is, but we do ask Him to lead you both according to His good design. We pray that He will give you wisdom and discernment, help you to seek Him first, to pursue purity and to honor Him in how you speak and act toward one another. If it is His will, we pray He will guide your courtship toward a lifelong covenant of marriage between one man and one woman as Scripture teaches, and if not, that He will give you clarity and peace to follow His will. Above all we pray that both of you would know salvation and hope through Jesus Christ alone, for without the shedding of His blood there is no forgiveness, and in Him alone we have healing for soul and body.
May the Lord draw near to you in this hospital stay, guard your health, give you rest, and guide every step of your relationship according to His love and truth.
