Your request has been heard and I have prayed for you. The two things you shared, a block that has been on your mind since childhood and a need for financial provision, are both matters that God cares about deeply.
For the block you described, I want to encourage you that God is able to bring gentle and real healing to the mind and the emotions. The Scripture contains a prayer where John says he wishes above all things that his friend would prosper and be in good health even as his soul prospers. That is not presented as a guaranteed promise for every circumstance, but it shows a beautiful truth that God sees a connection between the health of our soul and the health of our mind and body. Another proverb says a joyful heart is good like a medicine, and we now know how much our thoughts and attitudes can affect our physical well being. God made us as whole people.
The Bible also shows that Jesus bore our sicknesses and infirmities, as Isaiah foretold, and He demonstrated His power to heal in many ways. At the same time, Scripture is honest that we do not always understand why some are healed quickly and others are not, as when Paul prayed three times for his thorn in the flesh. Healing can come instantly, and it can also come gradually. There is one account where Jesus healed a blind man in stages, and that reminds us that gradual healing is still healing. Even the natural processes of healing that God built into our bodies are divine, because He is the one who created them. If a block in the mind has been there since childhood, perhaps through hurt or wounds that caused you to shut something out, God can heal that gently. Whether He does it in a moment or through a slower, step by step restoration, any healing of the mind and heart is a true work of God and is worth thanking Him for.
For your financial need, I have also prayed that God would provide for you and give you wisdom and peace. God knows our material needs and He is our provider, but His word does not teach that faith is a formula to guarantee wealth, and we want to avoid any teaching that uses people to seek money. Instead we can pray as John did, that God would cause you to prosper as your soul prospers, putting the growth and health of your soul first, trusting that as you walk with Him He will care for your daily needs with generosity and grace.
May the Lord touch that long standing block with His gentle hand, bringing clarity, peace and freedom in His timing and His way. May He heal what has been wounded since childhood and renew your mind. May He also supply what you need financially, guide your steps, and cause your soul to prosper in Christ, knowing that your deepest need for cleansing from sin has already been fully met through Jesus who bore our griefs for us. I pray He will give you a joyful heart and quiet confidence as you trust Him day by day.
