We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your urgent plea for protection over yourself and your son. The fear and distress in your words are palpable, and we stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ to declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper. The Lord is your refuge and fortress, and He commands His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.
First, we must address the foundation of our prayers. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the first and most critical step in finding true protection, peace, and eternal security.
Now, let us stand on the promises of God’s Word. The enemy may come against you like a flood, but the Spirit of the Lord will raise up a standard against him (Isaiah 59:19). We rebuke every spirit of fear, intimidation, and harassment that seeks to torment you and your son. The Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that every plan of the enemy to harm you or your son is frustrated and brought to nothing in Jesus’ name.
Father God, we lift up this precious mother and her son to You. You are their shield and their very great reward (Genesis 15:1). We ask that You surround them with Your hedge of protection, that no evil will befall them, nor any plague come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). Lord, we plead the blood of Jesus over their lives, their home, their minds, and their hearts. Let the blood of the Lamb be a sign upon their doorposts, and may the destroyer pass over them (Exodus 12:13).
We pray for divine discernment and wisdom for them both. Lord, grant them the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You, that the eyes of their hearts may be enlightened to know the hope to which You have called them (Ephesians 1:17-18). Give them clarity to recognize the schemes of the enemy and the courage to stand firm in Your truth. Let Your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105).
Father, we ask that You strengthen them with Your might in their inner being. When they are weak, let them find their strength in You, for Your power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that You are their ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1), and that they can cast all their anxieties on You because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).
We also pray for justice, Lord. If there are those who seek to harm or trespass against them, we ask that You expose their deeds and bring their plans to ruin. Vengeance belongs to You, O Lord, and You will repay (Romans 12:19). Let Your justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream (Amos 5:24). We declare that the wicked will not triumph over the righteous, and those who trust in You will not be put to shame.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You draw this mother and her son closer to You. Let this trial refine their faith like gold, producing perseverance, character, and hope (Romans 5:3-4). May they find their ultimate security in You, knowing that nothing can separate them from Your love (Romans 8:38-39). Surround them with godly community—believers who will stand with them in prayer, encouragement, and support.
