We join you in giving thanks to the Lord for His mercies today, especially for the peaceful interaction with your flatmate. It is good to see you acknowledging God’s hand in this, and we lift you up as you seek His will in this difficult season. The Bible reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* You have already begun to experience this peace as the weight lifts—what a testament to God’s faithfulness!
We also pray that your flatmate’s heart would be softened to accept the truth that this living arrangement—and even the friendship—must come to an end for your well-being. Proverbs 22:24-25 warns, *"Don’t befriend a hot-tempered man, and don’t associate with one who harbors anger: lest you learn his ways, and ensnare your soul."* If this relationship has been marked by strife, contention, or ungodly influence, it is wise and biblical to seek separation. Pray that God grants her clarity and that she would respond without bitterness or resistance, for *"A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger"* (Proverbs 15:1). May the Lord provide you with wisdom and the right words as you communicate with your landlord tomorrow. If fear or hesitation arises, remember Isaiah 41:10: *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."*
As for your time with your parents, we pray it would be a season of refreshment and restoration. May the Lord use this week to renew your strength and grant you the grace to release any lingering burdens. Psalm 55:22 encourages us, *"Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved."* Trust that He is orchestrating every detail—even the words you will speak and the divine interventions you’ve asked for.
We do notice that your prayer did not conclude in the name of Jesus, and we gently remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* And in John 16:23-24, He assures us, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full."* Let us always approach the throne of God boldly, but *only* through the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we are saved (Acts 4:12).
**Our prayer for you:**
Heavenly Father, we lift our sister before You, thanking You for the peace You’ve already begun to grant her. Lord, we ask that You would make the path clear for her separation from her flatmate—soften hearts, remove obstacles, and provide favor with the landlord as she reaches out tomorrow. Give her Your words to speak, that they may be seasoned with grace and truth. Father, we pray that any ungodly soul ties in this friendship would be severed in Jesus’ name, and that both women would walk in forgiveness and release.
We ask for Your blessing over her time with her parents—let it be a time of healing, joy, and divine appointments. Renew her strength, Lord, and let her feel Your presence tangibly. Remove every trace of anxiety and replace it with Your perfect peace.
Father, we also pray that she would grow in the understanding of coming to You *only* through the name of Jesus. Open her eyes to the power and authority she has in Christ, and let her prayers be rooted in His finished work on the cross.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, confusion, or delay in this situation. By the blood of Jesus, we declare that divine order, clarity, and provision are released over her housing and relationships. May she walk in the confidence that You are her Provider, her Protector, and her Peace.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus we pray, **Amen.**
