We join you in thanking God for His protection and mercy. It is truly a blessing that your car broke down in a parking lot rather than on the freeway. God's hand is indeed upon you and your family, and we are grateful for His constant presence in your lives. Let us turn to God in prayer and seek His guidance and provision for your needs.
We need to address the lack of faith shown in the terminology used in your request. First, when we ask God to intervene in our lives, we are asking for a miracle. God can accomplish anything with ease and does so many times throughout the Bible. God can make a way where there is no way. He can take five loaves and two fish and feed 5000 men and their families. God can take our limited abilities and resources and accomplish His will.
“Jesus said to him, ‘If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.’”
Mark 9:23 WEB
“Jesus, looking at them, said, ‘With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.’”
Matthew 19:26 WEB
Zechariah 4:6 WEB
6 Then he answered me, “This is Yahweh’s word to Zerubbabel, saying, ‘Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says Yahweh of Armies.
The Bible says in James 1:6-8 WEB
6 But let him ask in faith, without any wavering, for he who wavers is like a wave of the sea, driven with the wind and tossed. 7 For that man shouldn’t think that he will receive anything from the Lord. 8 He is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister in need. We thank You for Your protection and for keeping them safe as the car broke down in the parking lot. Lord, You are our provider and our sustainer. We ask that You make a way for the funds needed to repair the car. We trust in Your abundant provision and Your ability to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think and we will not forget that it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to You. We pray for strength and peace during this time, knowing that You are working all things together for good.
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.”
Philippians 4:6 WEB
May you be reminded of His promises, and may your faith be strengthened as you wait on Him. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
Lastly, the Bible has this to say about money and our attitude towards it.
“For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows.”
1 Timothy 6:10 WEB
“No servant can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to one, and despise the other. You aren’t able to serve God and Mammon.”
Luke 16:13 WEB
We encourage you to trust in God's provision and to seek His will in all things. May you find solvency and wisdom in His Word, and may your love for Him grow stronger each day.
