Blessings to overcome Financial debt

Heavenly Father, I come before you in the name of Jesus, asking for your forgiveness of all my sins and blessings. I am burdened with a debt and I am being harassed by calls and visits from the banks, which has brought shame to my family. Lord, I ask for your divine intervention and a miracle, so that debt collections agencies close my accounts completely and I will no longer need to make payments, as I have already paid them more than I borrowed. I am also receiving threats from the banks, warning of legal actions and that they will contact my friends and family to harass them. Additionally, I owe money with interest. My desire is to repay everyone. If these people continue to harass me or my contacts, it could jeopardize my new job and leave me unemployed again. Lord I ask for your intervention to stop harassment and repeated calls from every debt collection agency and individual to whom I have to repay to me, my family and friends, as their presence disrupts our peace. Jesus, please help that no one visit my home to whom I have to pay else that will create a huge problem. Please hear my prayer and grant me peace and resolution. Lord, I ask for your miracle and intervention by granting me a personal loan and I get the same without any hassle as it will help me to pay off all my debts. I ask this in Jesus name. We join you in prayer before our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus, and we thank you for coming humbly before Him asking for forgiveness and for help, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and it is in His name that we are saved and heard. We hear the heaviness of your burden, the shame you feel before your family, the fear of harassment, threats, visits to your home, and the worry that this could cost you your new job. We stand with you and bring all of this before the Lord together.

We want to gently and lovingly speak to a part of your request that needs biblical correction. You asked that collection agencies would close your accounts completely so you would no longer need to make payments because you feel you have already paid more than you borrowed, and you also desire a new personal loan to pay off all debts. We understand the exhaustion of paying high interest and feeling trapped, yet Scripture teaches us that we are to honor our obligations and repay what we owe. Psalm 37:21 says The wicked borrow, and don't pay back, but the righteous give generously. And Romans 13:8 says Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law. Romans 13:7 also tells us to give everyone what is due. Your desire to repay everyone is righteous and pleasing to God, and we want to encourage you in that godly desire rather than praying for debts that are still legitimately owed to simply be erased. Even when interest is heavy, we made an agreement and God calls us to be faithful and truthful in our dealings. Proverbs 11:1 says A false balance is an abomination to Yahweh, but accurate weights are his delight. We can however pray that God will bring fair and merciful resolution, that unjust or predatory practices would be exposed and corrected, and that He would provide a way for you to repay what is truly owed in a way that is honest and sustainable. We also encourage caution about taking on another loan, as Proverbs 21:5 warns The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit; and everyone who is hasty surely rushes to poverty. A new loan without wisdom can deepen the bondage rather than free you.

We also hear your distress over constant calls, threats to contact friends and family, and visits to your home. While we are to take responsibility for our debts, harassment that shames your family and threatens your livelihood is not God's will for your peace. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Matthew 6:33 calls us to But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. And Philippians 4:19 promises My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

We encourage you to walk in diligence and light. Keep working faithfully at your new job as unto the Lord, create a clear and honest budget, list every debt, contact each lender in writing to request a workable repayment plan or settlement, keep records of all communication, and seek wise godly counsel from a pastor or a trusted, reputable financial counselor in your church or community. Avoid hiding or making promises you cannot keep, but speak the truth in love and show a willing heart to repay. This faithful stewardship often opens doors for favor and reduces conflict.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus and we thank You for Your mercy and forgiveness. Lord, You see our brother's burden, the debt that weighs on him, the shame he feels, and the fear of harassment toward himself, his family and friends. We ask You to forgive his sins and to cover him with Your grace. Lord, grant him Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard his heart and mind. We ask for Your divine provision and wisdom, that You would open doors for honest work to be blessed, for income to be steady, and for every legitimate debt to be repaid in a way that honors You. We pray against harassment, intimidation and shame, and we ask that You would restrain those who would use threats and that You would give our brother favor with lenders, collection agencies and his employer, so that his new job would be protected and his home would be a place of peace. Give him courage to communicate honestly, diligence to steward what You provide, and discernment about any new borrowing, that he would not fall deeper into debt but would walk toward freedom. Provide for him according to Your riches in glory, make a way where there seems to be no way, and help him to owe no one anything except love. Let this trial draw his family closer to You and let his testimony be one of faithfulness, integrity and Your deliverance. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. We have heard your cry and we join you in bringing it before the Lord who hears the afflicted and is mighty to deliver.

You have rightly come in the name of Jesus and asked first for forgiveness of sins. Know this sure truth, that God has found a ransom for sinners. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance from the pit through a ransom if God had not thought of it, but He has given His own Son. Through faith in Christ alone there is forgiveness and peace with God, and from that peace all other mercies flow. If you have not already, cast yourself wholly upon Christ as your only hope, for He is the deliverance vouchsafed to us from worse enemies than any earthly trouble.

Your burden of debt, shame before your family, and fear of harassment and the loss of your employment is heavy, and we do not take it lightly. Scripture teaches us to view affliction as under the hand of God who chastens those He loves, and like Job we are called to patience, to say with him, The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away, blessed be the name of the Lord. In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly. May the Lord give you that same patient trust while He works for your good.

We commend your honest desire to repay what you owe. The Word says the wicked borrows and does not repay, but the righteous deals honestly. It is right before God to intend to pay what is justly owed, and to walk in integrity even when pressed. We cannot ask God to bless the dishonest avoidance of a lawful obligation, nor to make what is owed simply disappear if it is justly due, but we can and do ask Him for deliverance, provision, and a just and merciful resolution.

Therefore we pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come in the name of Jesus Christ, our only ransom and hope. Forgive this dear soul of all sins through the blood of Christ, and grant assurance of salvation. Lord, You see the weight of debt, the calls and visits, the threats and shame, the fear of losing work. Grant peace that passes understanding to this heart and to the family. Restrain all harassment that is unlawful or cruel, and move upon creditors and agencies to act justly and mercifully according to the law. Grant wisdom to deal honestly, to communicate clearly, and to seek godly counsel for stewardship and repayment. Provide for daily needs and for this new employment, protect it from jeopardy, and help this one to labor faithfully as unto You. If it be Your will, open a lawful and wise way of provision to meet these obligations without adding a heavier snare, whether through work, help, or other honest means, and guard from hasty borrowing that would deepen the pit. Above all, make this trial a means of deeper trust, that afterwards this soul may say, I shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord. We ask not for escape from responsibility but for deliverance attended with grace, that You would bring forth with Your own hand what is needed for life and godliness.

We encourage you to continue in prayer, to walk in honesty with those you owe, to keep careful records, to seek wise and trusted counsel in financial matters and, where harassment exceeds what is lawful, to seek proper legal guidance. Keep faithful in your new job, laboring with diligence as the Lord provides. And keep looking to Christ, who has delivered us from the power of darkness and who will not leave His people without help.

Your cry has been heard, and I thank you for bringing this heavy burden honestly before the Lord and before the church. The weight of debt, the shame felt before your family, the fear of losing a new job, and the distress of constant calls and visits can take away peace day and night, and it is right to seek God for help.

Scripture teaches that we find forgiveness only through Jesus Christ, and you have rightly asked for it in His name. He is faithful to forgive when we confess our sins. Scripture also teaches that the one who borrows should repay what is owed, and that love does not avoid what is just and honest. The desire you expressed to repay everyone is pleasing to God, and it is the path to a clear conscience and lasting peace. To ask God to simply close accounts that still have a rightful balance, or to remove the obligation to pay what is truly owed, would not be asking according to His will. Instead we ask Him to give you integrity, strength, and provision so that you can meet your obligations in a way that honors Him.

The peace we most need is not only that creditors stop calling, but that the peace of God rule in our hearts. That peace is steady because it comes from being reconciled to God through Christ, not from circumstances. When that peace guards the heart, it steadies the mind even while troubles remain, and it prepares the way for love and wise action. Where there is peace within, we can act with calmness, honesty, and diligence rather than with panic or despair.

So let us pray together for what is good and right to ask.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come to You confessing our sins and receiving Your mercy. Grant this dear one Your forgiveness and the assurance of Your grace. You see the debt and the pressure, the calls and visits, the threats and the fear for family and for work. Above all, fill this home with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and restoring calm to the family.

Continue in prayer, in honest work, and in steady steps. Seek wise counsel in your local church for budgeting and for dealing with collectors in a lawful way, keep clear records, respond calmly and truthfully, and avoid promises you cannot keep. Trust God day by day to supply what you need as you walk in faithfulness. He who gave His Son for you will not forsake you, and He will lead you toward both peace with Him and a clear path forward.

It is right that you have come before the Father in the name of Jesus and asked for forgiveness, because that is where true peace begins.

Scripture makes a distinction that is important for you right now. First there is peace with God, which only comes through the blood of Jesus Christ shed on the cross. He made peace between us and God when we were at war with Him, and when we trust in Jesus our sins are forgiven and we are no longer running from God. Then there is the peace of God, that steady, perfect peace that guards the heart and mind. Jesus said, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you. The prophet Isaiah says God will keep in perfect peace the one whose mind is stayed on Him, because he trusts in Him. And Paul writes that the peace of God, which passes all human understanding, will keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

You are asking for peace and resolution, and God does desire peace for His children. That peace does not come by trying to push the fear out of your mind, but by turning your mind toward Him and trusting Him to care for you. As you keep your eyes on Christ, bring every anxiety to Him in prayer with thanksgiving, and believe His Word rather than your feelings, He can give you a quietness inside even while the outward pressures are still real. That does not mean the problems disappear instantly, but it means your heart can be steadied in Him.

Part of seeking God in this situation is also walking in integrity with what you owe. You expressed a sincere desire to repay everyone, and that desire honors God. The Bible teaches that we should owe no one anything except love, and that the righteous seek to repay what they have borrowed. It would not be right to ask God to simply cancel a lawful debt so that you would not have to repay what is still owed, even if you feel you have already paid a great deal in interest and fees. Instead we can ask God to help you act honestly and faithfully, to provide for your needs through diligent work and wise stewardship, and to give you wisdom to handle what you owe in a way that is truthful and responsible. If some charges or practices seem unjust or harassing, seek wise and godly counsel and understand what lawful and fair options you have, communicate clearly and in writing with those you owe, keep careful records, and make a realistic plan to repay as you are able rather than taking on another loan hastily that may only add to the burden.

God has not forgotten you in this captivity of fear and pressure. His thoughts toward His children are thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give hope. He invites you to call upon Him and pray, and He hears. So we will pray not for God to help you escape responsibility, but for Him to give you His peace, to provide for you, and to lead you in a path of honesty and faithfulness.

Let us pray together. Father, in the name of Jesus we thank You that through His blood we can have peace with You and forgiveness of sins. We ask You to forgive and cleanse this dear one who trusts in Christ, and to fill the heart with Your peace that passes understanding. Keep the mind stayed on You and guard it from fear and shame. Grant wisdom to deal honestly with every debt, to communicate with meekness and truth, and to work diligently to repay what is owed.
