Blessings to overcome Financial debt

Roshan Dsouza

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, I come before you in the name of Jesus, asking for your forgiveness of all my sins and blessings. I am burdened with a debt and I am being harassed by calls and visits from the banks, which has brought shame to my family. Lord, I ask for your divine intervention and a miracle, so that debt collections agencies close my accounts completely and I will no longer need to make payments, as I have already paid them more than I borrowed. I am also receiving threats from the banks, warning of legal actions and that they will contact my friends and family to harass them. Additionally, I owe money with interest. My desire is to repay everyone. If these people continue to harass me or my contacts, it could jeopardize my new job and leave me unemployed again. Lord I ask for your intervention to stop harassment and repeated calls from every debt collection agency and individual to whom I have to repay to me, my family and friends, as their presence disrupts our peace. Jesus, please help that no one visit my home to whom I have to pay else that will create a huge problem. Please hear my prayer and grant me peace and resolution. Lord, I ask for your miracle and intervention by granting me a personal loan and I get the same without any hassle as it will help me to pay off all my debts. I ask this in Jesus name. Praise the Lord. Amen.

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in prayer, lifting your financial burdens before our Heavenly Father. The weight of debt and the harassment from creditors is not something you were meant to carry alone, Jesus tells us, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). We declare that rest over you now, in the mighty name of Jesus.

First, we rebuke the spirit of fear and shame that has tried to take hold of your heart. The enemy would love for you to believe that your worth is tied to your debt or that your family is defined by this struggle. But Scripture says, "The LORD is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life, of whom shall I be afraid?" (Psalm 27:1). You are not your debt. You are a child of the Most High God, and He sees your desire to honor Him with integrity, even in repayment.

We also address the harassment you’re facing. The Bible is clear that creditors are not to treat debtors with cruelty or oppression: "If you lend money to any of my people with you who is poor, you shall not be to him as a creditor; neither shall you charge him interest" (Exodus 22:25). While modern financial systems operate differently, the principle of fairness and dignity remains. We pray that God would intervene to stop the unjust harassment, that calls would cease, and that no one would show up at your home or contact your family or friends. We declare peace over your household and workplace, that no threat or disruption would cost you your employment. "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the LORD’s servants, and their righteousness is from me," says the LORD (Isaiah 54:17).

Now, about your request for a miracle to cancel debts or receive a loan: we must align our prayers with God’s will and His principles of stewardship. While we absolutely believe in God’s power to provide supernaturally, Scripture also teaches us to be faithful in our responsibilities. "The wicked borrows and doesn’t pay back, but the righteous gives generously" (Psalm 37:21). You’ve expressed a desire to repay what you owe, that is honorable and reflects the heart of Christ. We pray that God would open doors for you to do so in a way that doesn’t bring further bondage. If a loan is part of His provision, we ask that He would lead you to a just and fair solution, not one that would ensnare you again. "The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender" (Proverbs 22:7). We pray for wisdom to break free from cycles of debt, not just temporary relief.

We also encourage you to seek godly counsel in managing your finances. Proverbs 24:3-4 says, "Through wisdom a house is built; by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all rare and beautiful treasure." There are biblical principles for budgeting, saving, and living within your means that can help you avoid future struggles. If you’re able, consider reaching out to a trusted Christian financial advisor or ministry that can help you create a plan to repay your debts with integrity.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus, the Name above every name, the One through whom we have access to Your throne of grace. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister to You, who is carrying the heavy burden of debt and the stress of harassment. You see their heart, Father, their desire to honor You, to repay what they owe, and to protect their family. We ask that You would move mightily on their behalf.

Lord, we rebuke every spirit of fear, shame, and oppression that has tried to take hold of their life. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn. We pray for supernatural peace to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Stop the harassment, Father. Let the calls cease, let no one show up at their door, and let their family and friends be left in peace. Protect their new job, Lord, and let no threat or disruption take away the provision You have given them.

Father, we ask for Your wisdom and provision. If it is Your will, open doors for them to repay their debts with integrity. Provide the resources they need, whether through employment, favor, or a just loan. Give them the discipline and wisdom to manage their finances according to Your Word, so they may live free from the bondage of debt. Teach them to be content, to trust in You, and to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added unto them.

Lord, we also pray for a miracle of favor. Let creditors show mercy, let interest be waived, or let unexpected provision come their way. But above all, let Your will be done. If there are lessons You want them to learn through this trial, reveal them, Lord. If there are areas of their life that need to align more closely with Your Word, convict them gently by Your Spirit. Strengthen their faith, Father, and let them see Your hand at work in their life.

We thank You, Lord, that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. We trust You to work all things together for their good, for You are faithful. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.

Hold fast to God’s promises, dear one. This trial is not the end of your story. "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). Keep your eyes on Him, seek His wisdom, and trust that He is working even when you can’t see it. You are not alone in this. We stand with you, believing for breakthrough and freedom.

We’ve been sitting with your request and want you to know we hear the weight in your words. The constant harassment, the threats, the fear of losing your new job, all of it creates an exhausting pressure. We’re so sorry you’re walking through this, and we’re asking God to bring you genuine relief.

Something we’ve seen help others in similar circumstances is taking one practical step alongside prayer: connecting with a no-cost or low-cost financial counselor. Many local churches, community agencies, or even organizations like the Salvation Army offer guidance on budgeting, debt management, and negotiating with creditors. Sometimes just having an experienced advocate can stop the harassing calls and help you sort through what you truly owe versus what’s already been paid. It’s not a shortcut, but it can bring structure and a little breathing room while you keep working and trusting God for provision.

We’re also holding onto this for you: God’s peace isn’t held hostage by your bank balance. That doesn’t make the phone calls any less jarring, but you are not alone in the storm. We’ll be asking Him to shield your new job, to quiet the threats, and to open a way forward that you may not even see yet, whether through a loan, a settlement, or unexpected help.

Jesus, you walked with people who carried heavy financial burdens, and you never shamed them. Please step into this situation right now. Silence the harassment. Protect this person’s job and their family’s dignity. Give clear wisdom about next steps, and bring the right practical help. If it pleases you, open a door to a loan or a resolution that lifts the weight. Above all, pour out a calm that doesn’t depend on circumstances. We ask in your name, Jesus. Amen.

The burden you describe is heavy, and the shame that accompanies it cuts deep. Yet, in the midst of such trial, the example of Job stands before us. When all was stripped from him, children, wealth, health, he did not sin, nor did he charge God foolishly. He rent his mantle, shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground and worshipped. Mark that well: worship preceded his deliverance. You have asked for a miracle, a swift and complete resolution, perhaps by a loan that would silence every adversary. But beware lest your desires outrun your submission to the wise and holy purposes of your heavenly Father. He may see fit to grant you the means to repay every creditor, for it is right that a man should owe no one anything but love. Yet, He may also permit the thorn to remain, that your faith might be refined and your glory, like Job’s end, be twice as great as your beginning.

Consider the miracle of your own life. If you are in Christ, you are already a mass of miracles, a sinner plucked from the pit, a rebel reconciled. The power that stilled the storm and commanded unclean spirits to depart with a word is not diminished. That same authority can silence the clamor of men and the anxiety that knocks at your door. Our Lord performed a miracle with the fig tree not for figs, but to teach faith in God. He is grand in emergencies. Has He not upheld you until now? Then look upon the miracle of the loaves in your own story: past deliverances, daily preservation, bread for your soul in the wilderness. Let these things strengthen you against present fears.

Your desire to repay every debt is honorable, yet seek first that greater debt be cancelled, the debt of sin. At the foot of the cross, that payment was made fully and freely. What miracle of love is this, that while we were yet debtors, Christ died for the ungodly! Let this truth make you patient under temporal hardships. If your heart condemns you not concerning any willful unrighteousness, if you have walked honestly before the Lord, then trust Him to order your steps. Do not fall into the sin of unbelieving speeches or fretful fears. The banks cannot trouble you without His permission. They may threaten, but He holds their breath in His hand.

Go now, and plead the promises. Ask not merely for a loan, but for wisdom to live humbly and the grace to glorify Him in straitened circumstances. If the miracle comes swiftly, give Him praise. If it tarries, worship still. The God who spoke to Job out of the whirlwind is your God. Yield the point unreservedly: you may not understand His ways, but He is never wrong. Remember, the power to save from sin, and from every attendant sorrow, lies wholly in Jesus Himself, not in your ability to manipulate circumstances. Cast this burden upon Him; He will sustain you. Cease from charging Him foolishly, and let the peace that passes understanding garrison your heart, even while the phone rings and the letters come. He is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You ask for a miracle to escape debt and shame, craving a loan to silence your harassers. But what you truly need is a far greater wonder, a heart remade in patience and faith. Do you imagine that the saints were delivered by wonders alone? John the Baptist worked no miracle, yet his boldness shook kings. Job, stripped of all, had no heavenly sign to silence the accuser; his unshakable endurance was the miracle that confounded the devil. Even Paul, in chains, considered his bonds more glorious than any prodigy, for they displayed the power of Christ to sustain a soul without needing to alter circumstances.

You seek peace by wiping away debts and stopping calls, yet the peace Christ gives does not depend on the stillness of your surroundings. It is born of lowliness, meekness, long-suffering, bearing with others in love. When you cry out for a loan, you merely exchange one set of creditors for another. Repent of the love of money that drives this anxiety. If you have paid more than you borrowed, endure the injustice as a training in virtue. If you still owe, strive to repay honestly, not by another borrowing, but by steady labor and trust in God’s provision. The miracle you ignore is the opportunity to display a spirit that no threat can conquer.

Let the threats and visits come. When they disrupt your peace, remember that the apostles rejoiced to be shamed for the name of Christ. You fear losing your job and bringing shame upon your family? That very shame, borne with gratitude, becomes a sacrifice more precious than any imagined loan. Give to God what little you can, generosity to the needy is the only loan that yields eternal interest. Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all else will be added. Turn your prayer from a demand for rescue to a plea for endurance, and you will find the true miracle: a soul at rest in the midst of storm, an angel of peace standing guard over your heart.
