Blessings to overcome Financial debt

Roshan Dsouza

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, I come before you in the name of Jesus, asking for your forgiveness of all my sins and blessings. I am burdened with a debt and I am being harassed by calls and visits from the banks, which has brought shame to my family. Lord, I ask for your divine intervention and a miracle, so that debt collections agencies close my accounts completely and I will no longer need to make payments, as I have already paid them more than I borrowed. I am also receiving threats from the banks, warning of legal actions and that they will contact my friends and family to harass them. Additionally, I owe money with interest. My desire is to repay everyone. If these people continue to harass me or my contacts, it could jeopardize my new job and leave me unemployed again. Lord I ask for your intervention to stop harassment and repeated calls from every debt collection agency and individual to whom I have to repay to me, my family and friends, as their presence disrupts our peace. Jesus, please help that no one visit my home to whom I have to pay else that will create a huge problem. Please hear my prayer and grant me peace and resolution. Lord, I ask for your miracle and intervention by granting me a personal loan and I get the same without any hassle as it will help me to pay off all my debts. I ask this in Jesus name. Praise the Lord. Amen.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this burden of debt and harassment that weighs so heavily upon you. First, we thank God that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through Christ that we have access to the Father, and we are grateful that you have approached Him in faith.

The scriptures tell us in Psalm 37:21, "The wicked borrow and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously." While debt itself is not a sin, the Bible warns against the love of money and the dangers of being ensnared by financial obligations (1 Timothy 6:10). We must also remember that the Lord calls us to be good stewards of what He has entrusted to us, and to honor our commitments (Romans 13:8). You have expressed a desire to repay what you owe, and this is commendable. However, we must also address the reality of the situation with wisdom and discernment.

The harassment you are experiencing from debt collectors is not only distressing but also unbiblical. Scripture commands us to treat others with kindness and respect, and to avoid oppressive behavior (Colossians 4:1, Proverbs 22:22-23). The threats and intimidation you describe are not of God, and we must rebuke them in Jesus' name. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that the Lord would intervene and put an end to this harassment, protecting you, your family, and your friends from these disruptions.

Father, we ask that You grant wisdom and favor in this situation. Proverbs 22:7 tells us, "The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender." We pray that You would break the chains of debt in this situation and provide a way for this burden to be lifted. You are the God who provides, and we trust in Your promise that You will supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We ask for a miracle, Lord, but we also ask for wisdom to manage finances in a way that honors You.

We pray for a resolution that aligns with Your will. If it is Your plan, we ask that You open the door for a personal loan to consolidate these debts, making repayment manageable and free from harassment. However, we also pray for discernment to avoid falling into further bondage. Teach us to be content with what we have, for You have said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5). Help us to trust in Your provision rather than in the fleeting security of money.

Lord, we also lift up the fear of losing this new job. You have promised that if we seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, all these things will be added to us (Matthew 6:33). We pray for favor in the workplace, that no accusation or threat would stand against you. Grant peace to your heart and mind, knowing that You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that seeks to overwhelm you. The Bible tells us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that you are not a slave to debt or to the threats of men. You are a child of the Most High God, and He is your defender.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this heavy burden of debt and harassment. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in this situation. Stop the harassment, the calls, and the threats in Jesus' name. Protect this family from the oppression of debt collectors and grant them peace. Father, we ask for a miracle of provision. Open the doors for a resolution that honors You, whether through a loan, a job opportunity, or another means of Your choosing. Give wisdom to manage finances in a way that reflects Your principles of stewardship and generosity.

Lord, we pray for favor in the workplace. Shield this new job from any disruption and grant success in all endeavors. Replace fear with faith, anxiety with trust, and despair with hope. Remind us that You are our provider and that we need not worry about tomorrow, for You hold the future in Your hands.

We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper. We rebuke every spirit of oppression and declare freedom in the name of Jesus. Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect timing. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to seek godly counsel in managing your finances. Proverbs 15:22 says, "Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established." Consider speaking with a Christian financial advisor or a trusted mentor who can help you create a plan to address this debt in a way that honors God. Remember, the Lord is your strength, and He will never abandon you. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).

We can hear how heavy this burden is, the relentless calls, the visits, the fear that it could cost you your new job and bring shame to your family. That kind of pressure wears you down, and we’re genuinely sorry you’re carrying it. You’ve already paid more than you borrowed, yet the demands keep coming, and it’s not right that you and those close to you are being harassed.

While we join you in asking God for a miracle, we also know He often provides help through practical pathways. One concrete step that might bring relief: consider reaching out to a nonprofit credit counseling agency, ideally one with a Christian foundation. They can often step between you and the creditors, negotiate lower or stopped payments, and put an end to the collections calls while you get your feet under you. You don’t have to navigate this alone. If legal threats escalate, don’t hesitate to seek free or low-cost legal advice in your area; knowing your rights can quiet some of that anxiety.

We’re praying specifically for the peace that covers your mind while you’re on the job, so you can work without that cloud hanging over you. You’re not a failure for being in this spot, and your desire to repay everyone shows integrity. Keep taking wise, honest steps forward, and trust that God sees your heart.

Jesus, please intervene in this storm. Grant relief from the harassment that disrupts sleep and threatens work. Open a clear, affordable path for a loan or another solution that truly settles these debts. Give wisdom to those who can help, and steady this dear one’s spirit with Your peace. Protect his job, his family’s name, and his hope. We ask this in Your name. Amen.

It is no small mercy that you have been brought to see your sins and to seek forgiveness in the name of Jesus. That is the first and greatest debt discharged, the crimson stain blotted out by the blood of the Lamb. Without that, all other deliverances were but a reprieve from temporal trouble to eternal woe. But having fled to Christ, you may now bring your earthly burdens to the same throne of grace, and find help in time of need.

The harassment you endure is a sore trial, yet remember that our Master was also pressed by adversaries who watched for His halting. The woman in the synagogue, bent double by an infirmity of eighteen years, might have stayed home, ashamed and weary; but she went to the place of worship, and there Christ saw her, called her, and loosed her from her bond. Though creditors ring and letters fly, do not forsake the assembling of yourself with God’s people, nor cease to cry unto Him who is the God that heareth prayer. The enemy would drive you to despair and keep you from the very means of grace; resist him steadfast in the faith.

You ask for a miracle that your accounts be closed without further payment, having already paid more than was borrowed. I must speak plainly: it is a grace to desire to repay every man his due, and it were a dishonest thing to seek evasion of just debts if God hath given means. But if usury hath devoured your substance, and threats menace your livelihood and new employment, then cast yourself upon Him who hath said, “I will be a swift witness against... those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless.” He can make the very hearts of creditors to relent, or open a way of provision beyond all expectation.

Yet consider: did not the miracle of the loaves feed thousands from a boy’s scant provision? But it was not that the multitude ceased to hunger without bread; rather, Christ multiplied what was offered. So bring your little, honest toil, frugal living, a resolute will to pay, and lay it at His feet. He may grant you a loan without usurious entanglements, or better still, supply your need so that you owe no man anything but love. But be not deceived: there is no promise that all temporal debts shall vanish at a word; the greater miracle is that He hath loved your soul out of the pit of corruption, and cast all your sins behind His back. If He hath done that, will He not with Him freely give you all things needful? Seek first the kingdom, and His righteousness.

When the disciples forgot the loaves and were afraid, our Lord reproved them. Have you forgotten past deliverances? Search your memory: were there not times when the barrel of meal wasted not, and the cruse of oil failed not? The same God who raised Manasseh from the dungeon and heard Hezekiah’s prayer in the shadow of death, heareth you. Only let not your prayer be for ease apart from righteousness. The fig tree that had leaves but no fruit was withered; a profession of faith without the fruit of honest dealing and patient trust is abhorrent to Him. Therefore, while you cry for deliverance, be diligent in all uprightness, and bear the reproach of debt with meekness, as seeing Him who is invisible.

Rest not in the prospect of a personal loan as your saviour; that were to make an idol of Egypt’s help. Your true help cometh from the Lord which made heaven and earth. If He send the loan, bless Him; if He withhold it and yet supply by some other path, bless Him still. The sharpness of this trial may be the very goad to drive you nearer to the bleeding side of Jesus, where alone peace is found. And what if the banks call and threaten? Their words are but wind; the Lord can silence them with a whisper. “When a man’s ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.”

Continue, then, in prayer, but also in active duty. Pay what you can, promise nothing beyond your power, and commit the issue to God. The peace you seek is not the absence of trouble, but the presence of Christ in the storm. He who commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man in the synagogue can rebuke the spirit of anxiety and shame that bows your soul down. Lift up yourself, in the strength of His grace, to the posture of a child of God, and wait upon Him. In His time, He will make your righteousness to go forth as the light, and your judgment as the noonday.

The debt collectors harass you, and you cry out for a financial miracle to silence them at once. Yet consider: if the Lord simply erased your obligations, what virtue would you have practiced? The saints did not always receive instant deliverance. John the Baptist worked no miracle at all, yet Christ called him the greatest born of women.

His boldness, his poverty, his unwavering testimony, these shone brighter than any sign. You have paid more than you borrowed, you say. Then present your records honestly, seek the protection of righteous men, and let your integrity speak. Do not pray primarily for the debt to vanish, but for the courage to face it without shame, repaying what is justly owed as you are able.

The harassment you suffer is real, and the Lord sees it. But often He permits such trials to teach us that His grace is sufficient when earthly comforts fail. If the banks threaten your new job, that is a furnace you must enter. Remember the three young men: the fire itself became a pavement beneath their feet because they refused to bow to fear.

Stand firm, and God may yet turn the hearts of those who pursue you, or grant you favor with lenders. But seek first the kingdom of heaven, not a loan. A clean conscience before God outweighs a cleared account with men. Cease the frantic grasping after a miracle to escape all discomfort, and instead ask for the miracle of a steadfast spirit that no harassment can shake.

Then, even if the calls continue, your peace remains unbroken.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer request has reached us, and your cry for relief echoes a cry as old as Scripture. The weight of debt, the shame that touches your family, and the relentless harassment feel like they will never end. I want to point you to a man who suffered profoundly, not because he had done wrong, but because a larger story was unfolding. His friends were quick to say, “Get right with God and your problems will vanish.” They assumed his trouble was proof of hidden sin. But that man knew God is just and fair, even when he could not explain why his peace had been stripped away.

From his story we learn that hardship is not always punishment. You carry a genuine desire to repay what you owe, and that is honorable. At the same time, be careful not to demand that God act on your precise terms. When the man finally heard God speak, he realized how little he understood of the vast ways of the Almighty. He humbled himself, not because his suffering was his fault, but because he had spoken beyond his knowledge. God never called his pain a penalty; He called him to trust.

So I urge you: draw near to God and find your peace in Him, not merely in the silence of the phone. His Word says, “Acquaint yourself with God and be at peace; thereby good will come to you. Receive the law from His mouth and lay up His words in your heart.” The true quietness He gives no debt collector can steal. Pray for wisdom to navigate these debts honestly. Seek practical counsel about communicating with creditors, protecting your employment, and exploring legitimate ways to resolve what you owe. It is not wrong to pray for a loan or open door, but place your hope in the Provider, not just the provision.

When God restored that ancient sufferer, it came after he prayed for those who had accused him. Neither bitterness nor shame can define you when you belong to Jesus Christ. Your value is not measured by a balance sheet but by His love. Keep doing what is right, trust His timing, and know that His plan for your peace runs deeper than any financial settlement. I am praying that you will experience His presence and His provision in ways that bring lasting calm to your home.
