Blessings to overcome Financial debt

Roshan Dsouza

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, I come before you in the name of Jesus, asking for your forgiveness of all my sins and blessings. I am burdened with a debt and I am being harassed by calls and visits from the banks, which has brought shame to my family. Lord, I ask for your divine intervention and a miracle, so that debt collections agencies close my accounts completely and I will no longer need to make payments, as I have already paid them more than I borrowed. I am also receiving threats from the banks, warning of legal actions and that they will contact my friends and family to harass them. Additionally, I owe money with interest. My desire is to repay everyone. If these people continue to harass me or my contacts, it could jeopardize my new job and leave me unemployed again. Lord I ask for your intervention to stop harassment and repeated calls from every debt collection agency and individual to whom I have to repay to me, my family and friends, as their presence disrupts our peace. Jesus, please help that no one visit my home to whom I have to pay else that will create a huge problem. Please hear my prayer and grant me peace and resolution. Lord, I ask for your miracle and intervention by granting me a personal loan and I get the same without any hassle as it will help me to pay off all my debts. I ask this in Jesus name. Praise the Lord. Amen.

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in prayer, lifting your financial burden before the Lord. Debt can indeed be a heavy yoke, and the harassment you’re facing is not only stressful but also disruptive to the peace God intends for His children. We acknowledge your desire to honor your obligations and repay what you owe, and we pray that the Lord will make a way where there seems to be no way.

First, we must address the reality of debt with wisdom and discernment. Scripture tells us in Romans 13:8, "Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law." While it is noble to want to repay what you owe, we must also seek God’s guidance in how to do so in a way that aligns with His will. The harassment you’re experiencing from debt collectors is not only ungodly but also unlawful in many cases. The Bible warns us in Proverbs 22:7, "The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender." While this doesn’t excuse the behavior of those harassing you, it does remind us of the importance of seeking freedom from debt in a way that honors God.

We rebuke the spirit of fear and intimidation that has come against you and your family. The threats and harassment you’re facing are not from the Lord, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we pray that the Lord will silence the voices of those who seek to bring you harm or shame. We also pray for wisdom in handling these situations legally and biblically, as Scripture encourages us in Proverbs 22:26-27, "Don’t you be one of those who strike hands, of those who are collateral for debts. If you don’t have means to pay, why should he take away your bed from under you?"

We pray for a miracle on your behalf, but we also encourage you to seek godly counsel in managing your debt. The Lord may provide a way for you to consolidate or negotiate your debts in a manner that brings relief without compromising your integrity. We pray that the Lord will open doors for you to secure a loan or financial provision that will allow you to settle these debts in a way that honors Him. However, we must also caution against falling into the same patterns that led to this burden. Proverbs 21:5 reminds us, "The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit; and everyone who is hasty surely rushes to poverty." Let this be a season of learning and growth, where you seek God’s wisdom in managing your finances moving forward.

We also lift up your new job before the Lord. We pray that it will be a stable and prosperous opportunity, one that allows you to provide for your family and meet your obligations. We declare that no one will be able to disrupt or threaten your employment, and that the Lord will grant you favor in the eyes of your employers and colleagues. Psalm 90:17 says, "Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us; establish the work of our hands for us; yes, establish the work of our hands."

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear brother/sister who is burdened by debt and harassment. Lord, You see the weight they carry, and You know the stress and shame they’ve endured. We ask that You would intervene in this situation and bring a supernatural resolution. We rebuke the spirit of fear and intimidation, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. Lord, silence the voices of those who seek to harass and threaten, and grant this child of Yours peace in the midst of the storm.

Father, we pray for a miracle of provision. Open doors for them to secure the financial help they need to settle these debts in a way that honors You. Give them wisdom in managing their finances and the discipline to avoid falling into the same traps in the future. We pray for their new job, that it would be a stable and prosperous opportunity, and that no one would be able to disrupt their employment. Grant them favor in the workplace and the means to provide for their family.

Lord, we also ask that You would heal any shame or guilt they may be carrying. Remind them that You are their Provider and that Your grace is sufficient for them. Help them to trust in You fully and to seek Your will in all things. We declare that this burden will be lifted, and that they will walk in the freedom and peace that only You can provide.

We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

We encourage you to seek out biblical financial counsel, whether through a trusted pastor, a Christian financial advisor, or resources that teach God’s principles for managing money. Remember, the Lord is your Provider, and He will not abandon you in your time of need. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).

We're right here with you, standing in faith for your financial breakthrough. We understand the weight of debt and the stress it brings, but remember, God is faithful and He sees your situation. In Matthew 6:33, Jesus tells us, "But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." Let's trust Him together.

We've been praying for you, and we want to encourage you with these words from Psalm 37:25, "I have been young and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging for bread." God is your Provider, and He will not forsake you.

We're believing with you for a miracle, that God will intervene and bring a divine solution to your debt situation. We declare that your accounts will be closed and you will no longer need to make payments. We also pray for favor in your new job, that it will be stable and prosperous, and no one will be able to disrupt it.

We're here for you, and we'll keep lifting you up in prayer. Keep trusting in God, and let's watch Him work on your behalf. "For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you." - Isaiah 41:13.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
