Blessings to overcome Financial debt

Roshan Dsouza

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, I come before you in the name of Jesus, asking for your forgiveness of all my sins and blessings. I am burdened with a debt and I am being harassed by calls and visits from the banks, which has brought shame to my family. Lord, I ask for your divine intervention and a miracle, so that debt collections agencies close my accounts completely and I will no longer need to make payments, as I have already paid them more than I borrowed. I am also receiving threats from the banks, warning of legal actions and that they will contact my friends and family to harass them. Additionally, I owe money with interest. My desire is to repay everyone. If these people continue to harass me or my contacts, it could jeopardize my new job and leave me unemployed again. Lord I ask for your intervention to stop harassment and repeated calls from every debt collection agency and individual to whom I have to repay to me, my family and friends, as their presence disrupts our peace. Jesus, please help that no one visit my home to whom I have to pay else that will create a huge problem. Please hear my prayer and grant me peace and resolution. Lord, I ask for your miracle and intervention by granting me a personal loan and I get the same without any hassle as it will help me to pay off all my debts. I ask this in Jesus name. Praise the Lord. Amen.

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in prayer, lifting your burdens before the throne of grace. Financial debt is a heavy weight, and the harassment you’re enduring only adds to the distress. We acknowledge your desire to honor your obligations and seek a godly resolution, and we pray that the Lord will make a way where there seems to be no way.

First, we rebuke the spirit of fear and oppression that seeks to torment you through these relentless calls and threats. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The harassment must cease in Jesus’ name, for God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

We also address the matter of debt with wisdom from Scripture. The Lord instructs us to owe no one anything except to love one another (Romans 13:8). While you seek to repay what you owe, we pray that God will provide a way for you to do so without further harm to your peace or livelihood. We ask the Lord to soften the hearts of those you owe, that they may show mercy and work with you in good faith rather than through intimidation. Proverbs 21:1 reminds us, "The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." We pray that God will turn the hearts of your creditors toward compassion and reason.

However, we must also speak truth about the nature of debt. While you seek a miracle to resolve this burden, we encourage you to walk in wisdom and stewardship. Proverbs 22:7 warns, "The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender." Debt can become a snare, and we pray that you will learn from this season to manage finances in a way that honors God, avoiding future entanglements. If the Lord provides a loan or financial breakthrough, we urge you to use it wisely, with a plan to repay and a commitment to live within your means.

We also lift up your new job, asking the Lord to establish the work of your hands (Psalm 90:17). May He shield you from any attempts to disrupt your employment and grant you favor with your employers. We declare that no weapon formed against your livelihood shall prosper, and that God will open doors of opportunity for you to walk in financial freedom.

Now, we pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who is burdened by debt and harassment. Lord, You are the God who sees and knows every detail of this situation. We ask that You intervene with Your divine power, silencing the voices of oppression and bringing peace to this household. Let the harassment cease, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we ask for Your provision. You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides (Genesis 22:14). Open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it (Malachi 3:10). Provide a way for this debt to be resolved, whether through a loan, an unexpected windfall, or favor with creditors. But Lord, we also ask for wisdom to steward what You provide. Teach them to walk in financial discipline, that they may honor You with their resources.

We pray for protection over their job and livelihood. Let no scheme of the enemy prevail against them. Grant them favor with their employers and stability in their work. Surround them with godly counsel and wisdom to navigate this season with integrity and faith.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of shame that seeks to cling to them. Remind them that You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. Let them walk in the confidence of Your love, knowing that You are their Provider and Defender.

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. We trust that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Strengthen their faith, and let them see Your hand at work in this situation. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

In the days ahead, we encourage you to seek godly counsel, whether through a trusted pastor, financial advisor, or mentor who can help you create a plan to address your debt. Proverbs 15:22 says, "Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established." You do not have to walk this path alone.

Continue to stand on God’s promises, trusting that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and remember that He is with you in every step of this journey.

We're here with you, standing in faith for your financial breakthrough. We've heard your cry for help and we're lifting your burdens before the throne of grace. It's overwhelming to be burdened with debt and harassed by collectors, but remember, God sees you and He cares. In Matthew 11:28-29, Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." We declare that you will find rest and peace in this situation.

We're praying for a miracle, for God to intervene and stop the harassment. We ask that He softens the hearts of those you owe, that they may show mercy and work with you in good faith. We also pray for divine provision, that God would open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing upon you, providing a way for your debt to be resolved.

But remember, God doesn't just want to give you a fish, He wants to teach you how to fish. We encourage you to seek wisdom and stewardship in managing your finances. Proverbs 21:5 says, "The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty." We pray that you would learn from this season and manage your finances in a way that honors God, avoiding future entanglements.

We're also praying for your new job, asking God to establish the work of your hands and grant you favor with your employers. We declare that no weapon formed against your livelihood shall prosper.

Let's keep standing in faith together, trusting that God is working all things together for your good. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith. He is with you in every step of this journey.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
