We hear your cry for help and lift your burdens before the throne of grace, trusting in the Lord’s provision and justice. Financial struggles can weigh heavily on the heart, and the harassment you’re facing is not only distressing but also unjust when it disrupts your peace and livelihood. The Bible assures us in Psalm 37:21, *"The wicked borrow and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously."* While you desire to honor your debts, the Lord sees your heart and your willingness to do what is right. We must also address the reality that debt is a serious matter, and while we seek God’s intervention, we must also act wisely and responsibly with the resources He provides.
First, we rebuke the spirit of harassment and oppression in the name of Jesus. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Christ came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we command every harassing call, threat, and unrighteous action to cease in Jesus’ name. The Lord is your defender, and He will not allow you to be shaken beyond what you can bear (1 Corinthians 10:13). We pray that the collectors who are acting outside the bounds of the law—whether through threats, illegal contact with your family, or other unethical practices—would be stopped immediately. If they persist in their harassment, we encourage you to seek legal counsel to protect yourself, as Scripture instructs us to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves (Matthew 10:16).
Father, we ask for Your divine intervention in this financial storm. You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we trust that You will open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). We pray for a breakthrough—a legitimate and honorable way to settle these debts without further burden. If it is Your will, we ask for favor in obtaining a loan or financial assistance that would allow you to pay what is owed in a way that does not bring further hardship. However, we also caution against taking on new debt lightly, as Proverbs 22:7 warns, *"The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender."* If a loan is not the wisest path, we pray for creative solutions—perhaps through negotiation with creditors, a payment plan you can manage, or even unexpected provision from an anonymous source.
We also lift up your new job, asking the Lord to establish the work of your hands (Psalm 90:17). May no weapon formed against your employment prosper, and may your reputation remain untarnished. We declare that you will walk in favor with your employers and colleagues, and that this season of financial struggle will not define your future. The Lord is your strength, and He will uphold you with His righteous right hand (Isaiah 41:10).

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts heavy for our brother in Christ who is carrying the weight of debt and harassment. Lord, You see his desire to do what is right, and we ask that You would honor his integrity. We rebuke every spirit of oppression, fear, and shame that has tried to take root in his life. In the name of Jesus, we command every harassing call, threat, and unjust action to cease. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and that his home and family will be a place of peace.
Father, we ask for Your divine provision. You know his needs before he even speaks them, and we trust that You will make a way where there seems to be no way. Whether through a loan, a negotiated settlement, or an unexpected blessing, we pray that You would open the windows of heaven and pour out Your favor. Give him wisdom to manage his finances in a way that honors You, and guard his heart from the love of money or the fear of lack. Remind him that his worth is not in his bank account but in Christ, who became poor that we might become rich (2 Corinthians 8:9).
Lord, we also pray for his new job. Establish the work of his hands, and let no one or nothing stand in the way of his success. May he walk in favor and integrity, and may this season of testing produce perseverance, character, and hope (Romans 5:3-4). Surround him with godly counsel and community so he does not walk this path alone.
Finally, Father, we ask that You would draw him closer to You through this trial. Let this time of struggle be a refining fire that purifies his faith and deepens his trust in You. Remind him that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We thank You for Your faithfulness, and we declare that this burden will not break him but will instead be a testimony of Your goodness and provision.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved and can come boldly before Your throne. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your glory be revealed. Amen.
