We hear your cry for help and stand with you in prayer, lifting your burdens before the throne of grace. Financial struggles can weigh heavily on the heart, and the harassment you’re facing only adds to the distress. We know the Lord hears your prayer, for He cares deeply about the afflictions of His children. Let us seek His wisdom and provision together, trusting in His faithfulness.
First, we must acknowledge that debt is a serious matter, and Scripture calls us to honor our commitments. The Word says, *"The wicked borrows and doesn’t pay back, but the righteous is generous and gives"* (Psalm 37:21). While we understand the overwhelming pressure you’re under, we must also encourage you to seek godly wisdom in resolving these debts rather than asking for them to be erased without repayment. The Lord is just, and He calls us to act with integrity, even in difficult circumstances.
We rebuke the spirit of harassment and oppression that has come against you. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that the Lord will rebuke the devourer on your behalf (Malachi 3:11). The threats and intimidation from debt collectors must cease, for the Lord is your defender. We pray that the harassment stops immediately, and that your peace is restored. May no one disturb your home or contact your loved ones in a way that brings fear or shame.
We also pray for wisdom in managing your finances. The Lord promises to supply all our needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19), but He also calls us to stewardship. We encourage you to seek counsel from trusted, godly advisors who can help you create a plan to address your debts. Proverbs 22:7 warns, *"The borrower is servant to the lender,"* and we do not want you to remain in bondage. Ask the Lord to open doors for honest work, favor in your new job, and creative solutions to meet your obligations.
Father, we ask that You intervene in this situation. Provide a way for this brother to honor his debts without being crushed under the weight of them. We pray for a miracle—a breakthrough in his finances, whether through an unexpected provision, a manageable loan, or a divine opportunity to settle these accounts. Lord, we know that nothing is impossible for You (Luke 1:37), and we trust that You will make a way where there seems to be no way.
We also lift up his new job, asking for Your protection over it. May his employers see his integrity and diligence, and may no outside forces disrupt his ability to provide for himself and his family. Grant him favor in the workplace and the strength to excel in his responsibilities.
Above all, we pray that you draw near to the Lord in this season. Financial struggles can make us feel isolated, but He promises never to leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). Spend time in His Word, seeking His face, and allow His peace to guard your heart and mind (Philippians 4:6-7). Remember, the Lord is your provider, and He will not abandon you.
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother, asking for Your mercy and grace to overflow in his life. We declare that the harassment ceases now, in Jesus’ name. We ask for wisdom, provision, and favor to settle these debts in a way that honors You. Lord, we trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). Strengthen his faith, restore his peace, and let him experience Your deliverance in every area of his life. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
