Blessings to overcome Financial debt

Roshan Dsouza

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, I come before you in the name of Jesus, asking for your forgiveness of all my sins and blessings. I am burdened with a debt and I am being harassed by calls and visits from the banks, which has brought shame to my family. Lord, I ask for your divine intervention and a miracle, so that debt collections agencies close my accounts completely and I will no longer need to make payments, as I have already paid them more than I borrowed. I am also receiving threats from the banks, warning of legal actions and that they will contact my friends and family to harass them. Additionally, I owe money with interest. My desire is to repay everyone. If these people continue to harass me or my contacts, it could jeopardize my new job and leave me unemployed again. Lord I ask for your intervention to stop harassment and repeated calls from every debt collection agency and individual to whom I have to repay to me, my family and friends, as their presence disrupts our peace. Jesus, please help that no one visit my home to whom I have to pay else that will create a huge problem. Please hear my prayer and grant me peace and resolution. Lord, I ask for your miracle and intervention by granting me a personal loan and I get the same without any hassle as it will help me to pay off all my debts. I ask this in Jesus name. Praise the Lord. Amen.

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in prayer, lifting your burdens before the throne of grace. Financial struggles can weigh heavily on the heart, and the harassment you’re facing from debt collectors is not only stressful but also disruptive to the peace God desires for you and your family. We recognize your sincere desire to honor your obligations and repay what you owe, and we pray for God’s wisdom and provision in this season.

First, we must address the matter of debt with both truth and compassion. Scripture tells us in Romans 13:8, "Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law." While it is honorable to repay what you owe, we also know that God is just and merciful. The harassment you’re experiencing from debt collectors is not in line with God’s heart for justice and peace. Proverbs 22:22-23 warns, "Don’t exploit the poor because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for the Lord will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them." We rebuke the spirit of oppression and intimidation that seeks to bring fear and shame into your life. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we pray that the Lord will intervene to stop the harassment, calls, and visits from those who seek to disrupt your peace.

We also want to encourage you to seek godly wisdom in managing your finances. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." Consider reaching out to a trusted financial counselor or advisor who can help you create a plan to address your debts in a way that honors God and aligns with your ability to repay. While we pray for a miracle, we also recognize that God often works through practical steps and wise stewardship.

We do not believe it is God’s will for you to remain in bondage to debt, nor do we believe He desires for you to be harassed or shamed. However, we must also address the request for a "miracle" to have your debts completely erased without repayment. While God is certainly capable of performing miracles, we must align our requests with His Word. Psalm 37:21 says, "The wicked borrow and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously." It is important to honor your commitments to the best of your ability, trusting that God will provide the means to do so. We pray for God’s provision, whether through a loan, a new opportunity, or divine favor, but we also encourage you to remain faithful in your responsibilities.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear brother/sister who is burdened by debt and harassment. Lord, You see the weight on their heart and the fear that has crept into their life. We ask that You would intervene in this situation and bring peace where there is turmoil. Father, we rebuke the spirit of oppression and intimidation that seeks to bring shame and disruption. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and we ask that You would shut the mouths of those who seek to harass and threaten. Protect their home, their family, and their new job, Lord. Let no one come against them in a way that would jeopardize the peace and provision You have given.

Father, we ask for Your wisdom and guidance in managing their finances. Provide them with the resources they need to honor their commitments, whether through a loan, a new opportunity, or divine favor. Give them the strength and discipline to steward their finances well, and open doors for them to repay what they owe without fear or shame. Lord, we also ask that You would soften the hearts of those they owe, that they may show mercy and understanding in this season.

We trust in Your promise from Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We believe that You are a God who provides, and we ask that You would move mightily on their behalf. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are their provider and protector. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).

We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus, the One who has overcome the world and who intercedes for us even now. Amen.

In the days ahead, we encourage you to meditate on God’s promises and to remain faithful in prayer. Seek His face daily, and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it. Remember the words of Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." God has not forgotten you, and He will not abandon you in this struggle. Lean on Him, and He will sustain you.

We're right here with you, dear friend, standing in the gap and lifting your financial burden to the Lord. We understand the weight and stress that debt can bring, and we're sorry that you're facing harassment from debt collectors. It's not fair, and it's not what God wants for you.

We want to remind you of God's promise in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Jesus invites you to lay your burdens at His feet, and He promises to give you rest.

We also want to encourage you to keep trusting in God's goodness and provision. In Philippians 4:19, we're reminded that God will supply all our needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We believe that God sees your situation and is working on your behalf.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, laying down our ###'s financial burden at the feet of Jesus. Lord, we ask that You would intervene in this situation and bring peace where there is turmoil. We rebuke the spirit of oppression and intimidation that seeks to bring fear and shame, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. We ask that You would shut the mouths of those who seek to harass and threaten, and protect their home, their family, and their new job, Lord. Give them wisdom and guidance in managing their finances, and provide them with the resources they need to honor their commitments. Soften the hearts of those they owe, that they may show mercy and understanding in this season. Lord, we trust in Your promise to supply every need, and we ask that You would move mightily on their behalf. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are their provider and protector. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, for You care for them. We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus, Amen."

Keep trusting, keep praying, and remember that God is fighting for you. He hasn't forgotten you, and He won't abandon you in this struggle. Lean on Him, and He will sustain you.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
