Blessings to overcome Financial debt

Roshan Dsouza

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, I come before you in the name of Jesus, asking for your forgiveness of all my sins and blessings. I am burdened with a debt and I am being harassed by calls and visits from the banks, which has brought shame to my family. Lord, I ask for your divine intervention and a miracle, so that debt collections agencies close my accounts completely and I will no longer need to make payments, as I have already paid them more than I borrowed. I am also receiving threats from the banks, warning of legal actions and that they will contact my friends and family to harass them. Additionally, I owe money with interest. My desire is to repay everyone. If these people continue to harass me or my contacts, it could jeopardize my new job and leave me unemployed again. Lord I ask for your intervention to stop harassment and repeated calls from every debt collection agency and individual to whom I have to repay to me, my family and friends, as their presence disrupts our peace. Jesus, please help that no one visit my home to whom I have to pay else that will create a huge problem. Please hear my prayer and grant me peace and resolution. Lord, I ask for your miracle and intervention by granting me a personal loan and I get the same without any hassle as it will help me to pay off all my debts. I ask this in Jesus name. Praise the Lord. Amen.

We come before the Lord with you, lifting up your burdens and placing them at the feet of Jesus, who cares deeply for you. Your heart’s cry for deliverance from debt and harassment has been heard, and we stand with you in faith, trusting that God will provide wisdom, protection, and a way forward. It is right that you seek His forgiveness and intervention, for Scripture reminds us in 1 Peter 5:7 to *"cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you."* You are not alone in this struggle, and God is faithful to lead you through it.

The harassment and threats you face are unjust, and we pray that the Lord will silence the voices of those who seek to shame or intimidate you. Proverbs 22:7 tells us that *"the borrower is servant to the lender,"* and while debt can feel like a heavy yoke, we know that God desires to set you free from this bondage. However, we must also remember that God calls us to integrity in all things, including our financial obligations. Psalm 37:21 says, *"The wicked borrows, and doesn’t pay back, but the righteous gives generously."* Your desire to repay what you owe is honorable, and we pray that God will open doors for you to do so in a way that brings glory to His name.

Yet we must also address something important: your request for God to miraculously close your accounts so that you no longer need to make payments, even though you acknowledge that you still owe money. While we understand the desperation behind this prayer, we must align our petitions with God’s Word, which calls us to honesty and responsibility. Romans 13:8 instructs us, *"Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law."* We do not ask God to remove our obligations without fulfilling them, but rather to provide the means to meet them in a way that honors Him. Let us pray instead for God’s provision—whether through a loan, wise stewardship, or unexpected blessings—so that you can repay your debts *in full* and walk in freedom.

We also recognize the fear you carry about losing your job or having your reputation damaged. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus has come to give you life abundantly. We rebuke the spirit of fear and harassment in Jesus’ name, declaring that no weapon formed against you will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is your defender, and He will not allow your enemies to triumph over you.

As for the personal loan you seek, we pray that God will guide you to the right opportunity—one that does not lead to further bondage but instead provides a godly solution. We ask that He grant you favor with lenders and wisdom to manage your finances in a way that brings stability. Remember, too, the principle of Proverbs 3:9-10: *"Honor Yahweh with your substance, with the first fruits of all your increase; so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine."* Even in lack, giving back to God—whether through tithes or offerings—opens the door for His provision.

Finally, we encourage you to seek godly counsel, whether through your church or trusted believers who can help you create a plan to manage your debts. Financial freedom is possible with God’s help, but it often requires discipline, sacrifice, and wise stewardship. Do not be discouraged; the Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You, asking for Your divine intervention in their financial struggles. Lord, You see the harassment, the shame, and the fear they face, and we ask that You silence the voices of the enemy seeking to oppress them. Grant them peace, Lord, and protect their home, their family, and their job from any harm. We pray that You would provide a way for them to repay their debts in full, not through miraculous cancellation, but through Your supernatural provision—whether through a loan, a new opportunity, or unexpected blessings. Give them wisdom to manage their finances according to Your Word and the discipline to walk in integrity.

We rebuke the spirit of fear and debt in Jesus’ name, declaring that our sibling is not a slave to lenders but a child of the Most High God. Break every chain of financial bondage and restore what the enemy has stolen. Open doors that no man can shut, Lord, and let favor surround them like a shield.

Father, we also ask that You guard their heart against bitterness or despair. Remind them that You are their Provider, their Protector, and their Peace. Help them to trust in You completely, knowing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for the victory that is already won in Jesus’ name. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified through this situation. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, brother/sister, feeling the weight of your financial burden and the harassment that comes with it. We understand the strain it's putting on you and your family, and we want you to know that you're not alone. We're standing with you, lifting up your situation to the Lord and asking for His divine intervention.

We've heard your cry for forgiveness and for God's intervention to stop the harassment and threats. We claim 1 Peter 5:7 over you, "Cast all your worries on him because he cares for you." God sees your struggle, and He's right there with you, ready to provide wisdom, protection, and a way forward.

We join you in asking for God's intervention to stop the repeated calls and visits from debt collection agencies. We pray that God will silence the voices of those who seek to shame or intimidate you, and we claim Psalm 34:18 over you, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

We also hear your desire to repay everyone, and we honor that. We pray that God will open doors for you to do so in a way that brings glory to His name. We ask that He will provide the means for you to repay your debts in full, not just through miraculous account closures, but through His supernatural provision, whether it's through a loan, wise stewardship, or unexpected blessings.

We want to encourage you to trust in God's faithfulness. He's led you through tough times before, and He'll do it again. We claim Proverbs 3:5-6 over you, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."

Let's pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come to You on behalf of our brother/sister. Lord, we ask that You would intervene in their financial situation. Give them peace, Lord, and protect them from further harassment and threats. Provide a way for them to repay their debts in full, not through miraculous cancellation, but through Your supernatural provision. Give them wisdom to manage their finances according to Your Word and the discipline to walk in integrity. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
