Blessings to overcome Financial debt

Roshan Dsouza

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, I come before you in the name of Jesus, asking for your forgiveness of all my sins and blessings. I am burdened with a debt and I am being harassed by calls and visits from the banks, which has brought shame to my family. Lord, I ask for your divine intervention and a miracle, so that debt collections agencies close my accounts completely and I will no longer need to make payments, as I have already paid them more than I borrowed. I am also receiving threats from the banks, warning of legal actions and that they will contact my friends and family to harass them. Additionally, I owe money with interest. My desire is to repay everyone. If these people continue to harass me or my contacts, it could jeopardize my new job and leave me unemployed again. Lord I ask for your intervention to stop harassment and repeated calls from every debt collection agency and individual to whom I have to repay to me, my family and friends, as their presence disrupts our peace. Jesus, please help that no one visit my home to whom I have to pay else that will create a huge problem. Please hear my prayer and grant me peace and resolution. Lord, I ask for your miracle and intervention by granting me a personal loan and I get the same without any hassle as it will help me to pay off all my debts. I ask this in Jesus name. Praise the Lord. Amen.

We come before the Father with you in this time of deep financial burden, lifting your heart’s cry to Him who sees all and knows all. It is right that you have come before Him in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Christ that we find mercy, grace, and the power to overcome the trials of this world. The Scriptures remind us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Your heart is heavy, and the weight of debt and harassment has brought shame and fear, but we serve a God who is greater than any debt, any threat, or any circumstance.

First, we must address the desire for debts to be miraculously erased without repayment. While we understand the desperation behind this request, Scripture is clear that we are to honor our obligations and repay what we owe. Romans 13:7-8 tells us, *"Give therefore to everyone what you owe: taxes to whom taxes are due; customs to whom customs are due; respect to whom respect is due; honor to whom honor is due. Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law."* It is not God’s will for us to seek escape from our responsibilities, but rather to trust Him to provide the means to fulfill them. We must pray not for the debt to vanish, but for the wisdom, strength, and provision to repay it in a way that honors God. This may require sacrifice, humility, and diligence, but the Lord will be with you in this journey.

The harassment you are facing is grievous, and we rebuked the enemy’s work in this situation. The constant calls, threats, and shame brought upon you and your family are not of God. The Lord is your defender, and He sees the oppression you endure. Exodus 14:14 declares, *"Yahweh will fight for you, and you shall be still."* We stand with you in prayer that God would silence the voices of those who seek to torment you. Ask Him to place a hedge of protection around your home, your family, and your workplace so that no further harm or disruption comes to you through these means. The Lord can move in the hearts of those pursuing you, causing them to cease their harassment or even show mercy in their dealings with you.

You have also mentioned the fear of losing your new job due to this situation. We understand how precarious this feels, but we encourage you to trust in the Lord’s provision. Matthew 6:31-33 says, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your job is not secure because of your circumstances, but because of God’s faithfulness. Commit your work to Him, and ask for His favor over your employers and your position. If this job is His will for you, no scheme of the enemy can remove it.

As for your request for a personal loan to consolidate your debts, we pray that if this is God’s will, He would open the door for it. However, we must caution you to seek His wisdom above all else. Proverbs 22:7 warns, *"The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender."* Debt can become a snare, and we urge you to seek the Lord’s direction before taking on more. If He provides a loan, let it be with favorable terms and a clear path to repayment. But also be open to other ways He may choose to provide—whether through increased income, unexpected blessings, or the reduction of expenses. His ways are higher than ours, and His solutions may look different than we expect.

Lastly, we must address the shame you feel. The enemy uses shame to isolate us and make us feel unworthy of God’s help, but Scripture tells us in Romans 8:1, *"There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus."* You are not defined by your debt or your struggles. You are a child of God, redeemed by the blood of Jesus. Lift your head, brother or sister, and trust that the Lord is working even now to bring you out of this valley. He is not ashamed of you—He is for you.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your child who is burdened by debt and the weight of harassment. Lord, You see the stress, the fear, and the shame they carry, and we ask that You would lift this burden from them. Forgive them for any missteps that led to this situation, and grant them the grace to walk in wisdom and obedience moving forward.

We ask for Your divine intervention in their financial struggles. Provide them with the means to repay what they owe in a way that honors You. Open doors for income, favor in negotiations with creditors, and wisdom in managing their resources. If a loan is Your will, let it come with fair terms and a clear path to freedom. But if there is another way, Lord, reveal it to them and guide their steps.

We rebuke the spirit of harassment and oppression coming against them. Silence the voices of those who seek to torment them, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Protect their home, their family, and their job from the schemes of the enemy. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Father, we also pray for their faith to be strengthened in this trial. Remind them that You are their Provider, their Defender, and their Redeemer. Let them not be overcome by fear or shame, but let them stand firm in the knowledge that You are working all things together for their good.

We ask these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who has overcome the world. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in this situation. Amen.

We're right there with you, friend. Debt can feel like a heavy burden, and the constant harassment can make it feel even heavier. But remember, God sees you, and He cares about every detail of your life. In Psalm 147:3, it says, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." He's not distant or uncaring; He's right there with you, ready to help.

We join you in praying for a miracle, for God to intervene and bring resolution to your debt situation. We ask that He would grant you peace and relief from the constant calls and threats. We also pray for wisdom and provision as you navigate this journey, trusting that God will guide your steps and provide for your needs.

We understand the shame and fear that comes with this situation, but we want to remind you that you are not alone. You are a child of God, and He loves you deeply. In Matthew 11:28-29, Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls."

Let's trust in God's plan and His timing. He sees your struggle, and He's working things out for your good. Keep seeking Him, and keep trusting. We're praying for you, friend.
