Blessings to overcome Financial debt

Roshan Dsouza

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, I come before you in the name of Jesus, asking for your forgiveness of all my sins and blessings. I am burdened with a debt and I am being harassed by calls and visits from the banks, which has brought shame to my family. Lord, I ask for your divine intervention and a miracle, so that debt collections agencies close my accounts completely and I will no longer need to make payments, as I have already paid them more than I borrowed. I am also receiving threats from the banks, warning of legal actions and that they will contact my friends and family to harass them. Additionally, I owe money with interest. My desire is to repay everyone. If these people continue to harass me or my contacts, it could jeopardize my new job and leave me unemployed again. Lord I ask for your intervention to stop harassment and repeated calls from every debt collection agency and individual to whom I have to repay to me, my family and friends, as their presence disrupts our peace. Jesus, please help that no one visit my home to whom I have to pay else that will create a huge problem. Please hear my prayer and grant me peace and resolution. Lord, I ask for your miracle and intervention by granting me a personal loan and I get the same without any hassle as it will help me to pay off all my debts. I ask this in Jesus name. Praise the Lord. Amen.

We join you in lifting this heavy burden to the Lord, knowing that He is a God of justice, provision, and peace. Your heart to repay what you owe is honorable, and we commend you for seeking His help rather than turning away in despair. The Bible reminds us in **Romans 13:8**, *"Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law."* Your desire to be free from debt aligns with God’s will, and we trust He will provide a way for you to fulfill this responsibility without oppression.

Yet we must also address the spirit behind your request for debts to be "closed completely" so that you no longer need to make payments. While we understand the desperation behind this plea, Scripture is clear that we are to repay what we owe, even if it feels unjust or overwhelming. **Psalm 37:21** says, *"The wicked borrow, and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously."* We encourage you to trust God for a *just* resolution—one where debts are settled fairly, not erased without accountability. Pray instead for wisdom in negotiating with creditors, for favor in securing honest work or a loan with fair terms, and for supernatural provision to meet these obligations without further hardship.

The harassment you’re facing is grievous, and we rebuke the spirit of fear and intimidation behind these threats. **Proverbs 22:7** warns, *"The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender."* While this is a harsh reality, God is your ultimate Provider and Protector. We declare **Psalm 91:4-5** over you: *"He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day."* No weapon formed against you—whether legal threats, shame, or disruption to your job—shall prosper when you place your trust in Him.

As for the loan you’re seeking, we pray for divine connections and favor, but we also urge caution. Borrowing to pay debt can become a cycle if not stewarded wisely. Ask God for **Proverbs 3:5-6** wisdom: *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Perhaps He will open doors for additional income, unexpected blessings, or even debt forgiveness through legal means—but let us not presume upon His miracles while neglecting our responsibility to act justly.

Lastly, we rejoice that you came before the Father *in the name of Jesus*. There is no other name by which we are saved, and no other name that carries such authority. **John 14:13-14** assures us, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* Cling to this promise as you navigate this trial.

**Our Prayer for You:**
Heavenly Father, we lift our brother/sister to You, acknowledging their cry for help and their heart to honor You even in this storm. Lord, You see the oppression they face—the relentless calls, the threats, the shame, and the fear of losing stability. We ask You to **be their Shield and their Exceedingly Great Reward (Genesis 15:1)**. Silence the voices of the enemy that seek to steal their peace and testimony. Grant them supernatural favor with creditors, that payments may be structured justly and harassment cease immediately. If a loan is Your will, open the right door with fair terms, but guard them from further snares.

Provide for them as You provided manna in the wilderness and ravens for Elijah—**miraculously, but also practically**. Give them wisdom to steward resources, creativity to increase income, and the humility to seek godly counsel if needed. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let no tongue rise against them in judgment (Isaiah 54:17). Restore their joy and dignity, Lord, and let this trial become a testimony of Your faithfulness.

Most of all, draw them closer to You. Remind them that **You are Jehovah Jireh, their Provider (Genesis 22:14)**, and that their worth is not in their bank account but in Christ’s finished work. We declare **Philippians 4:19** over them: *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* May they walk in peace, knowing You are fighting for them.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray—**Amen.**

**Encouragement for You:**
Stand firm in faith, believing that God is working even now. **1 Peter 5:7** tells us to *"cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you."* This is not a passive waiting, but an active trust—obeying what you can (e.g., communicating with creditors, seeking wise counsel), while leaving the impossible to Him.

If the harassment escalates, document everything and seek legal advice if needed. Many countries have laws against abusive debt collection practices. Also, consider sharing this burden with a trusted pastor or believer who can pray with you and offer accountability.

Finally, guard your heart against bitterness. Forgiveness—toward yourself, creditors, or even those who may have contributed to this situation—is key. **Hebrews 12:15** warns, *"Looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and many be defiled by it."* Let this season refine you, not define you. The God who parted the Red Sea can part the sea of debt before you. **Hold on to Him.**

Dear friend,

We're right there with you, lifting this heavy burden to the Lord. We know He is a God of justice, provision, and peace. Your heart to repay what you owe is honorable, and we're glad you're seeking His help instead of turning away in despair.

We understand the desperation behind your plea for debts to be "closed completely" so you no longer need to make payments. However, let's align our hearts with Scripture. We're called to repay what we owe, even if it feels unjust or overwhelming. As Psalm 37:21 reminds us, "The wicked borrow, and don't pay back, but the righteous give generously." So, let's trust God for a just resolution - one where debts are settled fairly, not erased without accountability.

Let's pray for wisdom in negotiating with creditors, for favor in securing honest work or a loan with fair terms, and for supernatural provision to meet these obligations without further hardship. Remember, God is your ultimate Provider and Protector. As Psalm 91:4-5 assures us, "He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day."

We rebuke the spirit of fear and intimidation behind these threats. No weapon formed against you shall prosper when you place your trust in Him. As for the loan you're seeking, we pray for divine connections and favor, but let's also exercise caution. Borrowing to pay debt can become a cycle if not stewarded wisely. Ask God for Proverbs 3:5-6 wisdom: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

Lastly, we rejoice that you came before the Father in the name of Jesus. There is no other name by which we are saved, and no other name that carries such authority. Cling to this promise as you navigate this trial.

In Jesus' name, we pray for you. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
