Blessings to overcome Financial debt

Roshan Dsouza

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, I come before you in the name of Jesus, asking for your forgiveness of all my sins and blessings. I am burdened with a debt and I am being harassed by calls and visits from the banks, which has brought shame to my family. Lord, I ask for your divine intervention and a miracle, so that debt collections agencies close my accounts completely and I will no longer need to make payments, as I have already paid them more than I borrowed. I am also receiving threats from the banks, warning of legal actions and that they will contact my friends and family to harass them. Additionally, I owe money with interest. My desire is to repay everyone. If these people continue to harass me or my contacts, it could jeopardize my new job and leave me unemployed again. Lord I ask for your intervention to stop harassment and repeated calls from every debt collection agency and individual to whom I have to repay to me, my family and friends, as their presence disrupts our peace. Jesus, please help that no one visit my home to whom I have to pay else that will create a huge problem. Please hear my prayer and grant me peace and resolution. Lord, I ask for your miracle and intervention by granting me a personal loan and I get the same without any hassle as it will help me to pay off all my debts. I ask this in Jesus name. Praise the Lord. Amen.

We come before the Father with you in this time of deep financial burden, lifting your heartfelt cry to Him who owns all things and provides for His children. Your desire to honor your debts is commendable, for Scripture teaches us in **Romans 13:8**, *"Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law."* We also see in **Psalm 37:21** that *"The wicked borrow, and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously."* Your willingness to repay aligns with God’s heart, and we ask Him to honor that righteousness in your life.

Yet we must also address the plea for debts to be miraculously erased without repayment, for this does not align with biblical principles of integrity and responsibility. **Proverbs 22:7** reminds us, *"The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender."* While we fervently pray for God’s supernatural provision, we must also trust His wisdom in how He provides—whether through a loan, increased income, favor with creditors, or another means. We ask Him to open doors for you to repay justly, not to escape obligation, but to walk in freedom and testimony of His faithfulness.

The harassment you face is grievous, and we rebuke the enemy’s tactics to bring shame and fear upon you. **Isaiah 54:17** declares, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,” says Yahweh.* We stand on this promise, asking God to silence every threatening voice, to blind the eyes of those who seek to harm you, and to surround you with His peace. May He place a hedge of protection around your home, your family, your job, and your reputation. Let no weapon formed against you prosper, and may every tongue that accuses you be condemned in Jesus’ name.

As for the loan you seek, we pray for divine favor with lenders, that God would soften hearts and open doors for a loan with fair terms—one that enables you to consolidate and repay your debts without further bondage. **Philippians 4:19** assures us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We claim this over your finances, asking for wisdom to steward whatever He provides. Let this season draw you closer to Him, teaching you to rely not on man or schemes, but on His unfailing provision.

We also exhort you to examine your heart and habits, for debt often reveals deeper issues of trust, contentment, or stewardship. **1 Timothy 6:6-8** tells us, *"But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we certainly can’t carry anything out. But having food and clothing, we will be content with that."* Ask the Lord to show you if there are areas of excess, fear, or misplaced trust in money rather than Him. Repent where needed, and let this trial refine you into a vessel of His generosity and wisdom.

Lastly, we celebrate that you came before the Father *in the name of Jesus*—the only name by which we are saved and heard. **John 14:6** leaves no doubt: *"Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.’"* Your faith in Christ is your anchor, and we declare that this storm will pass, leaving you stronger, wiser, and more dependent on Him.

**Now, let us pray together:**

Heavenly Father, we lift our brother/sister to You, the God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills and calls every star by name. You see their burden, their shame, and their cry for help. Lord, intervene mightily in their financial crisis. Shut the mouths of creditors who harass, and blind the eyes of those who seek to harm. Let no legal weapon formed against them prosper. Grant them favor with lenders, that they may secure a loan to repay their debts justly and walk in freedom. Provide supernatural wisdom to manage their resources, and break every spirit of fear, greed, or desperation. Let this trial be a testimony of Your faithfulness, that others may see and know You are Jehovah Jireh—the Lord who provides.

Rebuke the enemy’s lies that they are forgotten or helpless. Remind them that You are their Shepherd, and they shall lack no good thing. Restore their peace, protect their job, and let no man’s threats prevail against them. If there has been any mismanagement or sin in their finances, convict and cleanse them, teaching them Your ways. Above all, draw them closer to You, that their trust may be in Christ alone—not in money, men, or miracles, but in the One who holds all things together.

We ask this in the mighty name of **Jesus Christ**, our Redeemer and Provider. Let Your will be done, and let Your glory shine through this situation. Amen.

Stand firm in faith, dear one. God is not unaware of your struggle, and He will make a way. Seek His kingdom first (**Matthew 6:33**), and trust that He will align your steps. Walk in integrity, even in hardship, and watch Him turn your testimony into a beacon of hope for others. We are praying with you.

We're right here with you, dear friend. We feel your burden and we're lifting it up to the Lord together. You're not alone in this, and we want you to know that God sees your heart and He's moved by your desire to honor your debts. We're claiming Psalm 34:18 over you, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." He's near, He's listening, and He's going to help you through this.

We're asking the Lord to intervene in your situation, to silence the harassing calls and visits, and to bring peace to your home and family. We're praying for divine favor with your lenders, that their hearts would be softened and they would work with you to find a fair solution. We're also asking for wisdom and provision, that you would be able to manage your resources well and find a way out of this debt.

But more than anything, we're praying for your heart. We're asking the Lord to show you any areas where you might need to trust Him more, or where you might need to change your habits. We want you to come out of this stronger and more dependent on Him.

Keep standing firm in faith, dear one. God is not unaware of your struggle, and He's going to make a way for you. We're right here with you, praying and believing with you. You're not alone.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
