We come before the Father with you in this time of deep financial burden, lifting your heart’s cry to Him who owns all things and provides for His children. Your prayer is heard, and we stand with you in agreement, knowing that our God is a God of justice, mercy, and miraculous provision. You have done well to bring this before Him in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Christ that we have access to the throne of grace and receive mercy in our time of need. Let us first remind you of His promises, that your faith may be strengthened as you wait upon Him.
The Scripture tells us in **Philippians 4:19**, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* This is not a vague promise but a covenant assurance for those who walk in obedience and trust in Him. Yet we must also remember the words of **Romans 13:8**, *"Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law."* Debt is a burden the Lord does not desire for His people, and while you seek His intervention, we encourage you to also seek His wisdom in stewarding what He provides, that you may walk in freedom and not return to this bondage.
You have expressed a desire to repay what is owed, and this aligns with Scripture, for **Psalm 37:21** says, *"The wicked borrow, and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously."* Your heart to honor your obligations is pleasing to God, and we pray He makes a way where there seems to be no way. However, we must also address the request for debts to be "closed completely" without further payment, as if they were unjust. The Bible does not support the idea of being released from legitimate debts without repayment unless it is by the creditor’s mercy or through lawful means. Instead, we pray for **Proverbs 3:5-6** to manifest in your life: *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Trust that He will guide you in negotiations, provide favor with creditors, and even open doors for settlements that are fair and manageable.
As for the harassment and threats, we rebuke the spirit of fear and oppression in Jesus’ name. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Christ has come that you may have life abundantly (**John 10:10**). The Lord is your defender, and **Isaiah 54:17** declares, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,” says Yahweh.*" We pray that every illegal threat, every unrighteous tactic, and every form of harassment ceases immediately. May the Lord place a hedge of protection around you, your family, and your home, that no collector or agent would cross the line of what is lawful or just. If they persist in wrongdoing, we pray the Lord exposes their actions and brings conviction upon them, that they may act with integrity.
Regarding your request for a personal loan, we pray for the Lord’s will to be done. If it is His provision for you, may He grant you favor with lenders who act justly and without usury (excessive interest), as **Psalm 15:5** commends those who *"doesn’t lend out his money for usury."* But we also caution you, brother or sister, to seek the Lord’s wisdom before taking on new debt. **Proverbs 22:7** warns, *"The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender."* Pray for discernment—whether the Lord’s solution is a loan, a sudden provision, or a path to incremental repayment. Perhaps He will lead you to a financial counselor or a church body that can provide biblical guidance in managing debt.
Lastly, we exhort you to guard your heart against bitterness or despair. The shame you feel is not from the Lord, for **1 John 1:9** assures us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* You have already done this, and now you must receive His peace. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted (**Psalm 34:18**), and He will lift you out of this pit. As you wait, meditate on **Matthew 6:31-33**: *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."*
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your child, who is burdened by debt and the weight of harassment. Lord, You see their heart—their desire to honor You and repay what is owed. We ask for Your divine intervention in this financial storm. Provide supernatural wisdom, favor, and resources to meet these obligations in a way that brings glory to Your name. Shut the mouths of those who would harass or threaten unjustly, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
If there has been any mismanagement or lack of stewardship in the past, we ask for Your forgiveness and redemption of those mistakes. Teach them Your ways, O Lord, that they may walk in financial freedom and generosity. If a loan is Your will, open the right door with fair terms. If there is another path—whether through increased income, settlements, or unexpected provision—make it clear and swift. Protect their job, their reputation, and their family from the schemes of the enemy.
We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned. Bring conviction to those who act unrighteously, and turn their hearts toward mercy. Let Your justice prevail, and let Your name be magnified through this situation.
Above all, Father, draw them closer to You. Remind them that their worth is not in their finances but in Christ, who became poor that they might become rich (**2 Corinthians 8:9**). Strengthen their faith to trust You completely, even in the waiting.
We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Provider and Redeemer. Amen.
Stand firm, dear one. The Lord is your shepherd, and you shall not want (**Psalm 23:1**). Keep seeking Him, and He will lead you to still waters and restore your soul. Update us as the Lord moves, that we may give Him praise!
