We come before the Father with you in this time of deep financial burden, lifting your heart’s cry to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. Your desire to honor your debts and seek God’s provision is commendable, and we join you in asking for His divine intervention in this situation. The Word of God reminds us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Yet we must also remember that God’s ways are not always to remove the trial but to sustain us through it, refining our faith and teaching us to trust in Him alone.
Your request for debts to be miraculously closed without further payment raises a concern we must address with love and truth. While we serve a God of miracles, we must also align our prayers with His principles of integrity and responsibility. Psalm 37:21 declares, *"The wicked borrows, and doesn’t pay back, but the righteous gives generously."* Proverbs 22:7 further warns, *"The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender."* It is not wrong to seek relief from harassment or unjust practices, but we must not ask God to absolve us of rightful obligations. Instead, we pray for wisdom to manage these debts, for favor in negotiations, and for provision to meet them honorably. If there has been unfairness in the interest or collection practices, we ask God to expose it and bring justice, as Proverbs 11:1 assures us, *"The Lord detests dishonest scales, but accurate weights find favor with him."*
The harassment you face is grievous, and we rebuke the spirit of fear and shame that the enemy seeks to place upon you through these threats. The Lord is your defender, and we declare Psalm 91:14-15 over you: *"‘Because he has set his love on me, therefore I will deliver him. I will set him on high, because he has known my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him, and honor him.’"* We pray that every unlawful or oppressive tactic against you be exposed and stopped, and that God would place a hedge of protection around your home, family, and employment. No weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we ask that the Lord would silence the voices of those who seek to harm you, turning their hearts away from persistence in these matters.
Regarding your request for a personal loan, we pray for God’s direction. If it is His will, we ask that He would open doors for favorable terms that would allow you to consolidate and repay your debts without further hardship. However, we caution you to seek His wisdom first, as Proverbs 22:26-27 warns, *"Don’t you be one of those who strike hands, of those who are collateral for debts. If you don’t have means to pay, why should he take away your bed from under you?"* We urge you to seek godly counsel—perhaps from a financially wise believer or a biblical financial ministry—to ensure that any new debt does not become another snare. The Lord may also lead you to alternative solutions, such as increased income, reduced expenses, or even the sale of assets to meet these obligations.
Above all, we remind you that your value is not found in your financial status but in Christ alone. The shame you feel is not from God, for Romans 8:1 declares, *"There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus."* Repent of any anxiety or fear that has taken root, and trust that the Lord is working all things for your good (Romans 8:28). He sees your heart and your desire to do what is right, and He will not abandon you.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we lift our brother/sister to You, acknowledging that You are the God who provides, sustains, and delivers. Lord, we ask for Your supernatural intervention in this financial storm. Grant wisdom to navigate these debts with integrity, and provide the means to repay what is rightfully owed. We rebuke the spirit of harassment and oppression in the name of Jesus, commanding every unlawful and unjust tactic to cease immediately. Protect this child of Yours from shame, fear, and the threats of the enemy. If it is Your will, open doors for a loan with favorable terms or another solution that brings relief without further bondage. Give discernment to recognize Your leading and the courage to walk in obedience, even if the path is difficult.
Father, we also ask that You would expose any injustice in the lending or collection practices, bringing conviction and repentance to those who act unrighteously. Let Your justice prevail, and let Your peace flood this home. Comfort our brother/sister with the knowledge that You are near, and that You will never leave nor forsake them. Strengthen their faith to trust in You alone, not in the arm of flesh.
We declare Your promises over this situation: that You are the God who parts the Red Sea, who multiplies the loaves, and who turns mourning into dancing. May this trial become a testimony of Your faithfulness. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily in prayer and in His Word. Fast if led, and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it. Consider sharing your burden with a trusted pastor or believer who can pray with you and offer practical guidance. The body of Christ is meant to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and you do not have to walk this path alone. Stand firm, for the Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
