We join with you in lifting this heavy burden to our Heavenly Father, knowing that He cares deeply for your struggles and longs to bring you peace and provision. It is clear that this debt has become a source of great distress—financially, emotionally, and even spiritually—as you face harassment, shame, and the threat of losing your livelihood. Yet we are encouraged by your heart’s desire to repay what is owed, for the Bible tells us in **Psalm 37:21**, *"The wicked borrow, and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously."* Your willingness to honor your obligations reflects a heart that seeks righteousness, and God sees this.
However, we must gently address a concern in your prayer. While it is right to ask God for miraculous intervention, we must also align our requests with His will and His ways. Asking that your debts be *completely closed without further payment*—even if you feel you have already paid more than you borrowed—could be seen as seeking relief from the consequences of financial decisions without fully fulfilling your responsibility. The Bible teaches us in **Romans 13:8**, *"Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law."* We must trust that God will provide a way for you to repay what is justly owed, not merely to escape the burden but to walk in integrity before Him and others.
The harassment you are facing is grievous, and we rebuked the enemy’s tactics of shame, fear, and intimidation in your life. The Bible assures us in **1 Peter 5:7**, *"Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you."* You do not have to carry this alone. We pray that God would silence the voices of those who seek to oppress you, that He would blind the eyes of those who would come to your home or workplace to cause distress, and that He would surround you with His peace as a guard over your heart and mind. **Isaiah 54:17** declares, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,” says Yahweh.*
As for your request for a personal loan to consolidate your debts, we pray that if this is God’s will, He would open the right door—one that does not lead to further bondage but to true freedom. Yet we also encourage you to seek wisdom in this. **Proverbs 22:7** warns, *"The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender."* If taking on more debt will only deepen your servitude, we pray instead for God’s supernatural provision—perhaps through unexpected income, favor in negotiations with creditors, or even the cancellation of unjust interest. Remember how God provided for the Israelites in the wilderness, raining down manna from heaven (**Exodus 16**). He is the same God today, and He is able to make a way where there seems to be none.
We also urge you to examine how this debt came to be. Were there spending habits, lack of planning, or unwise financial decisions that contributed? If so, ask God for wisdom to steward your resources differently moving forward. **Proverbs 21:5** says, *"The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit; and everyone who is hasty surely rushes to poverty."* Now is the time to seek godly counsel, create a budget, and walk in discipline. If pride or materialism played a role, repent and ask God to renew your mind in this area. His desire is not just to free you from debt but to teach you to live in a way that brings Him glory.
Most importantly, we rejoice that you came before the Father *in the name of Jesus*. There is no other name by which we can approach the throne of grace, and it is only through Christ that we find forgiveness, mercy, and help in our time of need. If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender every area of your life to Him—your finances, your fears, your future. **Matthew 6:33** reminds us, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* When your heart is aligned with His, He will provide what you need.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we lift our brother/sister to You, knowing that You are a God who sees their affliction and hears their cry. Lord, we ask that You intervene mightily in this financial storm. Silence the voices of the creditors who harass and threaten. Blind the eyes of those who would come to bring shame or disruption. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises in accusation be condemned by Your righteousness.
Father, we ask for Your wisdom. If there is a path to consolidate this debt in a way that honors You and brings true freedom, reveal it. But if that path would only deepen the bondage, we pray instead for supernatural provision—open doors for income, favor in negotiations, and even the cancellation of unjust interest. You own the cattle on a thousand hills (**Psalm 50:10**); nothing is too difficult for You.
We rebuked the spirit of fear that has gripped their heart. Replace it with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (**Philippians 4:7**). Guard their mind from anxiety and their home from intrusion. Protect their job, Lord, and let no scheme of the enemy cause them to lose it. You are their Provider, and we trust You to make a way.
Father, we also ask that You teach them Your ways in finances. Give them discipline to steward well what You provide. Heal any wounds of pride, greed, or poor stewardship that may have contributed to this situation. Let this season of struggle produce a testimony of Your faithfulness and their growth in Christ.
Most of all, Lord, draw them closer to You. Let them find their security not in money or the absence of debt, but in You alone. Remind them that even in this, You are working all things together for their good (**Romans 8:28**).
We declare freedom from this financial stronghold in Jesus’ mighty name. Let chains be broken, let debts be paid in Your perfect timing, and let Your peace reign in their heart. We ask all this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
