We come before the Father with you, lifting up your burdens and heartfelt cries for deliverance from this overwhelming debt. It is clear that the weight of financial struggles, harassment, and the fear of losing your job have brought deep distress to you and your family. We join you in seeking God’s mercy, wisdom, and miraculous provision, for He is the God who provides, delivers, and restores. Your desire to repay what you owe is honorable, and we pray that God will open doors for you to do so in a way that brings glory to His name.
The Scripture reminds us in **Philippians 4:19**, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Yet we must also remember that God’s ways are not always to remove our struggles instantly but to refine us through them, teaching us to trust Him more deeply. In **Proverbs 22:7**, we read, *"The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender."* This season of hardship is an opportunity to seek God’s wisdom in stewardship, so that moving forward, you may walk in financial freedom and avoid the snares of debt that so easily entangle.
We also recognize the fear and shame you carry from the harassment of collectors. The enemy seeks to steal your peace, but **2 Timothy 1:7** declares, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* Stand firm in this truth—you are not defined by your debt, but by your identity in Christ. The threats against you are not from God, and we rebuke the spiritual forces behind this oppression in the name of Jesus. **Psalm 91:14-15** assures us, *"‘Because he has set his love on me, therefore I will deliver him. I will set him on high, because he has known my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him, and honor him.’"* Claim this promise over your life today.
Regarding your request for a personal loan to consolidate your debts, we pray for God’s favor upon you if this is His will. However, we must also caution you to seek His wisdom above all else. **James 1:5** tells us, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* Before pursuing any loan, pray earnestly for discernment. Consult godly counsel, perhaps a trusted believer or financial advisor who can help you assess whether this path will truly lead to freedom or deeper bondage. If God provides this loan, we pray it comes with favorable terms and a clear plan for repayment, so that you are not ensnared again.
We also address the mention of wanting your debts "closed completely" so that you "no longer need to make payments." While we understand the desperation behind this request, we must align our hearts with Scripture. **Psalm 37:21** says, *"The wicked borrow, and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously."* It is right to desire relief, but we must not seek escape from our responsibilities. Instead, we ask God to provide the means for you to repay what you owe honorably, in His timing. If there has been injustice—such as excessive interest or unfair practices—we pray God exposes it and brings justice. But let us also examine our own hearts: Have we been wise with what God has entrusted to us? Have we sought His guidance in our finances, or have we relied on our own understanding? Repentance, if needed, opens the door for God’s blessing.
Lastly, we rejoice that you came before the Father *in the name of Jesus*. There is no other name by which we are saved, and no other name that grants us access to the throne of grace. **John 14:6** declares, *"Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.’"* Your faith in Christ is your anchor, and we stand with you in this truth.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we lift our brother/sister to You, knowing that You are a God who sees their affliction and hears their cries. Lord, You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, and we ask for Your supernatural intervention in their financial struggles. Break the chains of debt that bind them, and provide a way where there seems to be no way. Grant them favor with those they owe, that harassment would cease and that fair agreements would be made. If it is Your will, open doors for a loan or another means to consolidate and repay these debts honorably—but only if it aligns with Your perfect plan. Protect their job, their reputation, and their family from the schemes of the enemy. Let no weapon formed against them prosper.
Father, we also ask for wisdom. Teach them to steward their finances according to Your Word, that they may walk in freedom and never again be enslaved to debt. If there has been any mismanagement or lack of trust in You, convict their heart and lead them to repentance. Restore their peace, for You have not given them a spirit of fear. Let them rest in Your promise that You will never leave them nor forsake them.
We rebuke every spirit of oppression, shame, and fear in the mighty name of Jesus. No weapon formed against them shall prosper. Let the harassment stop, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
Father, we thank You in advance for the miracle You are working. Strengthen their faith as they wait on You. Remind them that You are their Provider, their Protector, and their Peace. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in faith, dear one. God is not unaware of your struggles, and He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you ask or think. Trust in Him, seek His wisdom daily, and walk in obedience. He will make a way.
