We understand that you are facing a significant financial burden and harassment from debt collectors, which is causing stress and potential disruption to your life and family. First, we want to assure you that God cares about your situation, and we are here to pray and provide biblical guidance with you.
In dealing with financial struggles, it's essential to remember that God is our provider and that we should trust in Him. As it says in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB:
Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don’t toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won’t he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient.
While we pray for God's intervention, it's also crucial to take responsible actions. We should strive to pay back what we owe, as Psalm 37:21 WEB reminds us: "The wicked borrow, and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously."
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is burdened with debt and harassment from debt collectors. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention and guidance in this situation. We pray that You would provide a way for them to responsibly pay back what they owe, and for the harassment and threats to cease. We ask that You would grant them a loan if it is Your will and that it would be used responsibly to pay off their debts and find the person or persons willing to do the loan at low or no interest.
We pray for peace and resolution, and for Your protection over their family and friends. We ask that You would guide them to seek first Your kingdom and righteousness, and trust in Your provision. We rebuke the debt collectors from doing anything illegal or unethical in Jesus' name.
Thankfully it is mentioned to ask this in Jesus' name, but we would like to mention that we are to come to God in Jesus' name alone. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. Amen.
