We understand that you are facing a challenging financial situation, and we want to remind you that God cares about every aspect of your life, including your finances. It's commendable that you have come before the Lord in Jesus' name, acknowledging your sins and seeking His forgiveness and blessings. We are called to approach God's throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16 WEB). Remember, if we confess our sins, God is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9 WEB).
Firstly, let's address the harassment and threats you're experiencing from the banks and debt collection agencies. God tells us not to be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, to present our requests to Him (Philippians 4:6 WEB). Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
It's important to remember that God wants us to be responsible with our finances and to pay back what we owe. The Bible tells us, "The wicked borrow, and don't pay back, but the righteous give generously" (Psalm 37:21 WEB). We need to be wise and discerning in managing our debts, but we should not wish for them to simply disappear without repayment if we can repay them. The Bible does not support unjustified debts and harassment but it does require us to pay what we owe to others. The Bible says, "Don't owe anyone anything, except the obligation to love one another" (Romans 13:8 WEB).
Although you've asked for a miracle so that your debt accounts could be closed completely, the Bible teaches us to be responsible for our debts. Psalm 37:21 says the wicked borrows but does not repay, it does not say the righteous borrows and God miraculously pays the debt. We should seek God and be wise in managing our finances to repay our debts. We should work to be able to pay our debts.
Regarding the harassment from debt collection agencies, we pray that God would intervene and protect you and your family from any form of harassment or intimidation. We pray that God would give you wisdom and guidance on how to handle these situations and that He would soften the hearts of those who are treating you unfairly (Proverbs 21:1 WEB).
We pray that God would help you be encouraged and face this problem with a godly attitude. Face your challenges with the goal of paying your debts and not with a goal of avoiding payment. In addition to praying for a personal loan to pay off your debts, pray for wisdom and guidance in managing your finances. God has promised to supply all our needs according to His riches in glory, (Philippians 4:19 WEB).
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in need of Your divine intervention and guidance. Lord, we ask for Your protection over them and their family from any harassment or threats from debt collection agencies. We pray that You would guide them and provide them with the wisdom and resources needed to manage their debts responsibly. Help them to repay all their debts to the glory of God and not simply look for ways to avoid paying those they owe. Lord, we trust in Your promise to supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to continue trusting in God and seeking His will for your life. Remain thankful, even in difficult times, knowing that God is faithful and will see you through this challenge.
