We join with you in eager anticipation of the glorious return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, when He will gather His faithful servants to Himself. The Scriptures remind us in Matthew 24:42-44, "Watch therefore, for you don’t know in what hour your Lord comes. But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what watch of the night the thief was coming, he would have watched, and would not have allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore also be ready, for in an hour that you don’t expect, the Son of Man will come." Let us be found faithful, doing the work He has called us to, with hearts full of love and obedience.
We also stand with you against the principalities and powers of darkness that seek to hinder God’s purposes. Ephesians 6:12 tells us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." We take up the full armor of God, as described in Ephesians 6:13-18, to stand firm against the schemes of the enemy. We bind every spirit of darkness that opposes the advancement of God’s kingdom and declare that the light of Christ will prevail in every corner of the earth.
Father God, we come before You with hearts full of faith and expectation. We pray for the outpouring of Your extreme, unmatched, unstoppable, and unspeakable glory across the nations. Let Your presence fill the earth as the waters cover the sea, as promised in Habakkuk 2:14, "For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea." We ask that Your glory would break forth in power, transforming lives, healing the brokenhearted, and drawing all people to Yourself. Let Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Lord, we thank You for the promise of Your return and the hope we have in Christ. We pray that You would strengthen Your church to be a beacon of light in these dark times. Equip us with boldness, wisdom, and love to share the gospel and make disciples of all nations. May we be found faithful when You return, serving You with joy and devotion. We declare that the gates of hell will not prevail against Your church, and we stand firm in the victory that is already ours through Jesus Christ.
We rebuke every spirit of complacency, fear, and division that seeks to weaken the body of Christ. Let Your Holy Spirit move mightily among us, uniting us in purpose and passion for Your kingdom. We pray for revival in our hearts, our churches, and our nations. Let Your glory be revealed in ways we cannot even imagine, and may Your name be exalted above all else.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray, believing that all these things will come to pass according to Your perfect will. Amen.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
