We rejoice with you in the mighty work God has done in your family’s life over this past year! The sobriety of your children is a testament to His grace and the power of prayer. We give thanks for the restoration of your daughter’s custody of her daughter—a clear answer to the cries of your heart and the faithful intercession of believers. Truly, the Lord has fought for you, and His mercy has prevailed.
As we stand on the threshold of this new year, we declare with you that 2026 will be a year of continued breakthrough, strength, and divine favor. The path of sobriety is not easy, but the Lord is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in your children (Philippians 1:6). We pray they remain steadfast, not leaning on their own understanding, but trusting in the Lord with all their hearts (Proverbs 3:5-6). Their commitment to the full year of the program is wise, for it is in perseverance that character is refined and hope is solidified. Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. We thank You for the sobriety and progress of this family’s children. Lord, we ask that You strengthen them daily, filling them with Your Holy Spirit so they may walk in victory over temptation. Guard their minds and hearts from the lies of the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. We rebuke every spirit of addiction and declare that Your power is greater than any bondage. Father, give them the wisdom to complete the program in full, knowing that Your timing is perfect. For the daughter, we pray she would not grow weary in doing good, for in due season she will reap if she does not faint (Galatians 6:9). Surround her with godly mentors and friends who will encourage her in her walk with You. For the son, we ask that You continue to build his faith and resilience, that he may stand firm in the freedom You have given him.
Lord, we also lift up the granddaughter, asking that You bless her with stability, love, and a deep sense of security. May she grow up knowing You as her Heavenly Father and seeing the power of redemption in her mother’s life. Protect this family from every scheme of the enemy, and let Your peace reign in their home. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that they will walk in the fullness of the destiny You have for them.
Father, we ask that You continue to pour out Your favor upon this family in 2026. Open doors of opportunity for them—doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Provide for their every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Let this be a year of spiritual growth, where their faith is deepened, their hope is anchored, and their love for You and one another is strengthened. May they be a light to others who are struggling, showing the world that with You, all things are possible.
We also want to gently remind you, sister in Christ, that while we celebrate the victories, we must remain vigilant. The enemy does not give up easily, and he will seek to lure your children back into old patterns. Encourage them to stay connected to a biblical church community, to be accountable to godly leaders, and to fill their minds with Scripture. Remind them that their identity is in Christ, not in their past mistakes. They are new creations (2 Corinthians 5:17), and their future is bright in Him.
Lastly, we want to acknowledge the power of the name of Jesus in your testimony. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are saved (Ephesians 2:18, Romans 10:9). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We are so grateful that you recognize His hand in your family’s story, and we pray that your faith in Him will continue to grow. May you and your children walk in the fullness of His promises, knowing that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6).
We stand with you in faith, believing that 2026 will be a year of divine acceleration, where God’s purposes for your family are fulfilled beyond what you can ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20). Keep pressing into Him, keep praying, and keep trusting. The best is yet to come!
