We come before the Lord with hearts seeking His will above all else, for His Word is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant designed by Him to be between one man and one woman, reflecting Christ’s love for His Church. The request you’ve shared appears to reference a union that does not align with this biblical foundation, as outlined in Genesis 2:24: *"Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh."* Additionally, Scripture is explicit in addressing relationships that deviate from God’s design, as seen in passages like Leviticus 18:22 and Romans 1:26-27, which describe same-sex relationships as sinful and contrary to God’s plan.

If there is any area of your life—or this relationship—that is not in submission to Scripture, we urge you to seek the Lord’s forgiveness and direction. 1 John 1:9 reminds us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* There is no sin too great for God’s grace, and His desire is for all people to turn to Him in obedience and faith.

We also notice that while you mentioned "in Jesus’ loving name," we want to gently remind you that salvation and access to the Father come only through Jesus Christ, as Acts 4:12 declares: *"There is no salvation in anyone else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you or anyone involved in this request has not yet surrendered their life to Jesus as Lord and Savior, we implore you to do so today. Believe in Him, repent of your sins, and commit to following His Word in every area of your life.

Heavenly Father, we lift up this individual before You, asking for Your Holy Spirit to work mightily in their heart. Lord, we pray that You would reveal any area of their life that is not aligned with Your Word and grant them the courage to turn away from it. If this union they speak of is not according to Your design, we ask that You would soften their heart to receive Your truth and give them the strength to walk in obedience. Father, we pray for a spirit of repentance and a hunger for righteousness to take root in their life.

We also ask that You would surround them with godly counsel and believers who will speak Your truth in love. If they do not yet know You as their Savior, Lord, we pray that today would be the day of salvation for them. Open their eyes to see Jesus as the only way, the truth, and the life. May they find their identity and fulfillment in You alone.

For those who are already Yours, Father, we ask that You would guide them into relationships that honor You—relationships built on Your Word, with the goal of godly marriage between one man and one woman. Help them to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that You will provide all they need.

We rebuke any spirit of deception or confusion that may be at work, and we declare that Your truth will set them free. May Your will be done in their life, Lord, and may they find peace and joy in walking closely with You.
