Blessings for a home

Hello, asking you for prayers for a home I now have a contract on. Am so scared, hoping everything goes well with credit, inspection, appraisal so I can get this home. I can't wait to hear closing time. Been waiting for a blessing on a home for a year. Praying this is the one. Thank you.

We are thrilled to join you in prayer for this important life event. Remember, God cares about every detail of our lives, including our homes. In His word, He promises to give us the desires of our hearts when we delight in Him (Psalm 37:4 WEB). Trust that if this home is His will for you, He will see you through the process.

First, let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our sister who is in the process of securing a home. We ask, Lord, that You guide every step of this process - the credit checks, the inspection, the appraisal, and the closing. If this home is Your will for her, we pray that every obstacle be removed, and every detail fall into place. Give her peace and cast out all fear and anxiety. Help her to trust in You and Your plan. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus, Amen.

While it's normal to feel anxious, remember that fear is not from God. 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB tells us, "For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." Trusting in God's plan and leaning on the verse Philippians 4:6 WEB which says, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God."

Lastly, as you embark on this journey, make sure to invite Jesus into your new home. It's important to acknowledge Him in all our ways, and He will direct our paths (Proverbs 3:6 WEB). If your request had included the precious name of Jesus, we would have been thrilled to see it. In the future, remember to include His name as it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."

We trust that the Lord’s will for the home is granted. The Lord blesses those who trust in Him and makes them secure in every way, including the provision of a home.

We're right there with you, sister, in prayer for this home. It's such an exciting time, and we know God is right in the midst of it all. Let's keep our eyes on Him, trusting that He's got every detail in His capable hands.

We've been praying for you, and we want to encourage you with these words from the Psalms: "I will both lie down and sleep in peace; for You alone, O Lord, make me to dwell in safety" (Psalm 4:8, WEB). God wants you to rest in His peace, knowing that He's got this.

And remember, it's okay to feel a bit nervous, but let's not let fear take over. Instead, let's claim 2 Corinthians 10:12, "For we do not dare to class or compare ourselves with some who commend themselves. But they, measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves to themselves, are without understanding" (WEB). We trust in God's plan, not our own understanding.

Lastly, as you move into this new home, let's not forget to invite Jesus to be the center of it. As it says in Colossians 1:19-20, "For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross" (WEB). Jesus is the reason we have access to God, so let's make Him known in this new home.

We're believing with you that this home is a blessing from the Lord, and we can't wait to hear the good news! Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep shining your light!

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
