Beloved of All
We have received your prayer and we are joining you in bringing it before the Lord with care and compassion.
We pray for you as you wait for your emergency section, asking our Father to be near to you and to your baby, to grant you His peace while you wait, and to guide the hands of the doctors and nurses who will care for you. We ask Him for protection over you both and for a safe delivery and a healthy baby, and we pray that He will grant this child life and health in the days and years to come.
We remember before Him your sorrow over stillbirth and the fear that such loss can bring, and we ask Him to comfort your heart and to lift you up. Scripture reminds us that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind, and that He calls us to watch and to trust Him while also receiving His strength when our hands hang down and our knees are feeble. We pray that He will sober and steady your heart, that you will know His presence very near, and that you will experience His faithfulness as you trust His timing and His promises.
Father, we place this mother and child into Your hands. Watch over them, keep them safe, and grant a good outcome according to Your mercy and wisdom. Give peace that guards the heart, give strength for this hour, and give joy and thanksgiving in the days ahead. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior, trusting that He hears and answers according to His perfect love. Amen.
