We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up this precious time of expectancy and the concerns shared. First, we thank God for the gift of life growing within you and for His sovereign care over both you and your little one. We stand in agreement with your prayers for healing, protection, and divine intervention during this pregnancy.
Father in Heaven, we ask You to touch this dear sister’s body with Your healing hand. We rebuke this cough and sinus infection in the mighty name of Jesus, declaring that by His stripes she is healed (Isaiah 53:5). We pray that no infection would take root in her or be passed to her baby, for You are the God who heals (Exodus 15:26). Strengthen her immune system and grant her rest and relief. We also pray for the placenta to move to its proper place, trusting in Your perfect design for pregnancy and childbirth. Lord, we ask that You would guard against any complications from gestational diabetes or other health concerns, covering both mother and child with Your peace and protection.
We lift up the desire for a healthy baby girl, surrendering this hope into Your hands. You knit this child together in her mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-14), and we trust in Your plans for her life. May she be fearfully and wonderfully made, growing strong and healthy under Your watchful care.
We also take authority over the bad dreams that have been troubling her. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every spirit of fear and anxiety in Jesus’ name, declaring that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray for peaceful, restful sleep, free from torment, and that her mind would be stayed on You, Lord, for perfect peace (Isaiah 26:3).
We encourage you to continue casting all your anxieties on Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). This season of waiting and preparation is sacred, and we pray that you would draw near to God, finding comfort and strength in His presence. Lean on Him, for He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the life You have entrusted to this dear sister. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch to rest upon her body, driving out sickness and infection. We declare Your promises of health and wholeness over her and her baby. Father, we pray for the placenta to be positioned according to Your perfect will, and we ask that You would guard against any complications, especially those related to gestational diabetes. Lord, we trust in Your plans for this child, and we pray that she would grow strong and healthy in the womb.
We rebuke every spirit of fear and anxiety that seeks to disturb her peace. We declare that she will sleep soundly, free from bad dreams, and that her mind will be at rest in You. Lord, we ask that You would fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We thank You for hearing our prayers, and we trust in Your faithfulness to answer according to Your will. May this time of expectancy be filled with joy, hope, and an ever-deepening relationship with You. In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
