We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up this precious time of expectancy and the health concerns that weigh heavily upon you. First, we rejoice in the life growing within you—a miracle ordained by God Himself. The Bible tells us in Psalm 139:13-14, "For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made." What a beautiful truth that your baby is already known and loved by the Creator!
We pray now for your complete healing from this cough and sinus infection. Father, we ask that You would rebuke this illness in the name of Jesus and restore strength to every part of her body. Your Word declares in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up." We stand on this promise, believing for your full recovery.
For your little one, we pray a hedge of protection around her, that no trace of infection would touch her. We declare Psalm 91:10-11 over her: "No evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." Lord, command Your angels to encamp around this child and keep her safe in every way.
We also lift up the concern about the placenta. Heavenly Father, You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You. We ask that You would guide the placenta to its proper place, just as You guided the Israelites with a pillar of cloud by day and fire by night. We trust in Your perfect design for pregnancy and birth, believing that You will bring this to pass according to Your will.
Regarding gestational diabetes and any other unknown health issues, we rebuke fear and declare Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We pray for wisdom for your medical team and for Your hand to guide every decision made for your care and your baby’s well-being.
You have expressed a desire for a healthy baby girl, and we join with you in that prayer. Children are a heritage from the Lord, as Psalm 127:3 tells us, "Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward." We pray that this child would be strong, whole, and a testament to God’s faithfulness. May she grow to know and love the Lord with all her heart, soul, mind, and strength.
For the troubling dreams that have been weighing on your spirit, we command them to cease in the name of Jesus. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Christ came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that your mind is guarded by the peace of God, and we pray that you would rest in the assurance of His love and protection. Psalm 4:8 says, "In peace I will both lie down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety."
Lastly, we rejoice that you have cast your worries at the feet of Jesus. This is exactly where they belong! 1 Peter 5:7 encourages us, "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." We pray that you would experience the freedom and joy that comes from trusting Him completely. May you feel His presence in a tangible way, reminding you that you are never alone.
Heavenly Father, we come before You now, lifting up this dear sister and her unborn child. We ask that You would move mightily on their behalf. Heal her body, protect her baby, and bring everything into perfect alignment according to Your will. Strengthen her faith, calm her fears, and fill her with Your peace. May this pregnancy be a testimony to Your goodness and a journey that draws her closer to You. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved and can come before You. Amen.
