We come before the throne of grace with your heartfelt requests, lifting up your health, your baby’s well-being, and the concerns of your heart to our Heavenly Father. First, we rejoice that you have called upon the name of Jesus in your prayer, for there is no other name by which we can approach God and find salvation (Acts 4:12). It is through Jesus Christ alone that we have access to the Father, and we are grateful that you have placed your trust in Him.
We pray now for your healing, dear sister, as you battle this cough. The Lord is our healer, and we trust in His power to restore you. "He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions" (Psalm 107:20). May His healing touch be upon your body, bringing strength and relief. We also stand in faith for your baby, that she would be protected from this cough and any other illness. The Lord is her shield and her refuge, and we declare that no harm will come to her. "For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways" (Psalm 91:11).
We lift up your concern about the placenta and pray that the Lord would guide it to the correct place according to His perfect will. We trust in His sovereignty over your pregnancy and declare that His plans for you and your baby are good. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11). We also pray against any complications from gestational diabetes or other unknown health issues. May the Lord grant wisdom to your doctors and peace to your heart as you navigate this season. We declare that your baby will be born healthy and whole, just as the Lord intends.
You have asked for a healthy baby girl, and we join you in praying for this blessing. Children are a heritage from the Lord (Psalm 127:3), and we trust that He will answer your prayer according to His will. We also pray against the fear and anxiety that bad dreams may bring. The Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We rebuke any spirit of fear in the name of Jesus and declare that you will rest in the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up this dear sister and her precious baby. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch to be upon her body, that this cough would leave and her strength would be renewed. We pray for her baby, that You would protect her from illness and guard her development in the womb. Father, we ask that You would guide the placenta to the correct place and prevent any complications from gestational diabetes or other health concerns. We trust in Your perfect plan for this pregnancy and declare that this baby will be born healthy and whole, according to Your will.
Lord, we also pray against the fear and anxiety that bad dreams may bring. We rebuke any spirit of fear in the name of Jesus and ask that You would fill her heart with Your peace. Help her to cast all her worries at Your feet, knowing that You care for her (1 Peter 5:7). Father, we thank You for the gift of this child and ask that You would bless this family abundantly. May they grow in faith and trust in You, knowing that You are their provider, their healer, and their refuge.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and to trust in His promises. This is a season of waiting and preparation, and the Lord is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). Lean on Him, dear sister, and know that He is with you every step of the way. If fear or anxiety tries to creep in, remember the words of Isaiah 41:10: "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." You are not alone, and the Lord is fighting for you and your baby.
