We come before the throne of grace with your requests, lifting them up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and through whom we have access to the Father. We rejoice in your faith and trust in God’s healing and protective power, and we join you in prayer, standing on His promises.
First, we pray for your healing and the protection of your precious little one. The Word of God assures us that He is our healer and our refuge. "He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions" (Psalm 107:20). We declare healing over your body and your baby, rebuking this cough in the name of Jesus. We also pray for the positioning of your placenta, trusting that God’s hand is guiding every detail of this pregnancy. "For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made" (Psalm 139:13-14). We speak life and health over your baby girl, believing that she is fearfully and wonderfully made by the Creator Himself.
We also take authority over the bad dreams you’ve mentioned, for the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may be manifesting through these dreams, for "God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that your mind would be guarded by the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and that you would rest securely in His promises.
We encourage you to continue casting all your worries upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Pregnancy can bring many concerns, but we are reminded that God is our ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). Trust in His timing and His plan for your life and the life of your child. As you wait for the arrival of your baby girl, meditate on the truth that "children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward" (Psalm 127:3). This season is a gift, and we pray that you would experience the joy and peace that comes from surrendering every detail to Him.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up this dear sister and her unborn child. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch to rest upon her body, driving out any sickness or discomfort. We declare that this cough will not harm her or her baby, and we speak health and strength over them both. Father, we pray for the positioning of the placenta, asking that You would guide it according to Your perfect will, ensuring no complications arise. We trust in Your design for this precious life growing within her, and we pray that this baby girl would be born healthy, whole, and strong.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear that seeks to torment her through bad dreams. We declare that her mind is guarded by the peace of Christ, and we ask that You would fill her with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Help her to rest in the assurance that You are in control, and that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). Father, we also ask that You would fill her heart with joy and anticipation as she prepares to meet her daughter. May she feel Your presence surrounding her, comforting her, and reminding her that she is never alone.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to answer. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect plan for this family. May Your name be glorified in every detail of this pregnancy and the birth of this child. We ask all these things in the powerful and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
