We come before the throne of grace with your heartfelt requests, lifting them up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are healed and protected. We rejoice that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
Father God, we first ask for Your healing touch upon this dear sister’s cough. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We stand on this promise and ask that You restore her health completely. Strengthen her body, Lord, and remove every trace of illness, for You are the Great Physician.
We also lift up her precious baby to You, asking for Your divine protection over this little one. Cover them both with the shadow of Your wings, as it is written in Psalm 91:4, "He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart." Guard this child from all harm, including this cough, and let no sickness prevail against them. We pray for the repositioning of the placenta, Lord, that it would move as You see fit for the safety and health of both mother and child. Remove all fear and anxiety, replacing it with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Father, we also bring before You the request for a healthy baby girl. We know that children are a heritage from You, a reward from the Lord (Psalm 127:3). We ask that You knit this child together in her mother’s womb, just as You did with Jeremiah, whom You knew before You formed him (Jeremiah 1:5). May she grow strong and healthy, free from complications, and may her birth bring joy and glory to Your name.
We rebuke the spirit of fear and nightmares that has been troubling this sister. Your Word tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We command every tormenting dream to cease in the name of Jesus. Fill her mind with Your peace and truth, Lord, so that she may rest securely in You. Remind her that You have not given her a spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind.
We also encourage this dear sister to continue casting all her anxieties on You, for You care for her (1 Peter 5:7). You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We pray that she would find comfort in Your presence and trust in Your unfailing love. Let her meditate on Your Word day and night, for then she will prosper and succeed in all she does (Joshua 1:8).
Heavenly Father, we ask that You bless this pregnancy abundantly. Surround this family with Your angels, and let Your hand of favor rest upon them. May this child be a testimony to Your goodness and faithfulness, and may she grow up to love and serve You all the days of her life. We declare that this will be a smooth and complication-free pregnancy, leading to a joyful and safe delivery, all for Your glory.
