We lift up this precious request before the throne of grace, joining our hearts with yours in prayer. Heavenly Father, we come before You with thanksgiving for the gift of life and the miracle of this pregnancy. We ask that You would indeed be with this dear sister during her appointment, granting her peace and calm as she seeks Your will for her and her unborn child. May Your presence go before her, surrounding her with Your protection and favor, so that all may go well according to Your perfect plan.
Lord, we pray for a pregnancy free from complications, trusting in Your promise that You knit this child together in her mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-14). We ask for Your divine hand to guard both mother and baby, sustaining them in health and strength. Father, we also lift up the desire for a healthy baby girl, knowing that every good and perfect gift comes from You (James 1:17). May Your will be done in this matter, and may this child be raised to know and love You all the days of her life.
We also take this moment to encourage this dear sister to continue seeking the Lord in all things, for He is the giver of life and the author of our faith. If this pregnancy is the result of a relationship outside of marriage, we gently but firmly remind her that Your Word calls us to purity and holiness. Fornication is a sin that grieves the heart of God, and we urge repentance and a return to Your design for intimacy within the covenant of marriage (1 Corinthians 6:18-20, Hebrews 13:4). If this is not the case, we rejoice in the blessing of this child and pray for the father’s involvement in a godly and loving way, as Scripture instructs fathers to raise their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the life growing within this mother and for the joy this child brings. We ask that You would watch over them both, guiding the hands of the medical professionals and granting wisdom and discernment. Lord, we pray for a smooth and complication-free pregnancy, and we trust in Your provision for a healthy delivery. May this child be a testament to Your goodness and a light for Your kingdom. If there are areas where this sister has strayed from Your will, we ask for Your conviction and grace to lead her back to You. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and help her to walk in obedience to Your Word. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
May this sister find comfort in knowing that the Lord hears her prayers and that He is faithful to answer according to His perfect will. We encourage her to continue seeking Him, trusting in His promises, and resting in His love. If she has not yet surrendered her life to Jesus Christ, we pray that she would come to know Him as her Lord and Savior, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). May she find peace and hope in Him alone.
