We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your wife in prayer as she battles illness. The Word of God reminds us in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We stand on this promise, believing that God hears our cries and is able to restore health and strength.
Father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we ask for Your healing touch to be upon this precious wife. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and sickness that has taken hold, for Your Word declares in Luke 10:19, "Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you." We command this illness to leave her body, and we speak life, health, and wholeness over her in Jesus' name.
Lord, we also pray for wisdom for the doctors and medical professionals attending to her. Guide their hands and minds as they provide care, and let Your healing power flow through every treatment and medication. We trust in Your sovereignty, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
We encourage you both to draw near to God during this time. Psalm 30:2 says, "Lord my God, I called to you for help, and you healed me." Continue to seek the Lord in prayer and in His Word, for He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Surround yourselves with fellow believers who can uplift you in prayer and provide support.
If there are any areas in your lives that do not align with God’s will, we gently encourage you to examine your hearts and repent, for the Lord is faithful to forgive and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Let this season of trial draw you closer to Him, deepening your faith and trust in His perfect plan.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to You, and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that if there is anyone reading this who does not know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, that they would come to repentance and place their faith in Him. For it is written, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).
Lord, we declare that this wife will rise up in strength and testify of Your goodness. We speak peace over her mind, body, and spirit, and we thank You in advance for the complete restoration that is coming. May her recovery bring glory to Your name, and may many come to know You through her testimony. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Healer. Amen.
