🙏 Blessed Virtual Fellowship, Connection 🌉 Blessing 🤺🤺🤺Protection 💞 Love, 1 Jn 1:2-3, Fun & Laughter, Gen 21:6, Cheerful Heart is Good Medicine

Your prayer has been heard and I join you in thanking God for the desires you have expressed. It is good that you long for true fellowship, for joy and laughter, for a cheerful heart, and for a home marked by prayer, worship and the Word. Scripture teaches that our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ, and that the Father reveals the Son and the Son reveals the Father. No one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal Him, and in this we see their unity and glory. To know Christ is to be brought into that fellowship, and from Him we receive grace and then peace, for He ended the war between us and God not by our labor but by His grace.

I thank God with you for the joy that belongs to Christ, who rejoiced greatly in the Holy Spirit, and who was anointed with the oil of gladness. From His fullness we have all received, and He gives light and life to enlighten our souls. A cheerful heart is indeed good medicine, and the Lord gives us times and seasons for all things. Your desire for a scheduled time for video fellowship with your son is right and good. God has appointed our times and boundaries, and He can turn hearts toward one another as channels of water. I pray that the Lord will turn your heart and your son's heart toward each other according to Malachi 4, and that He will provide orderly and consistent time for you to be together, to laugh, to share Scripture, and to build connection.

Continue to train your son in the Scriptures which are able to make him wise for salvation, teaching diligently as you walk and talk together, bringing him up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. This is done best where there is mutual respect and honor, children obeying parents in the Lord and parents not provoking children, but all pursuing peace and holiness without which no one will see the Lord, and purity of heart that desires to see God.

For the relationship between the three of you, I pray first for peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, for that is the foundation of all other peace. Salvation is through Christ alone, and marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman where love, faithfulness and even intimacy belong within that covenant. I pray with you that she would find true peace with God, a clear understanding of His truth, and a solid grasp of His love shown in adoption through Christ, being justified by faith and having hope that does not disappoint because of the love of God poured into our hearts. I pray also as you asked for deliverance from deception, from sin, from evil influences and evil people, from temptation and from the evil one, and that the Lord who is faithful would guard and keep you all from the evil one.

You have wisely asked for wisdom, for love to abound with knowledge and discernment, and for knowledge of God's will. Keep asking as James 1 teaches, for God gives wisdom generously. Regarding the clause in 1 Corinthians 7:15, that word is given for cases where an unbelieving spouse chooses to leave, and it calls the believer to live in peace, not to seek departure. The call for the believer is to remain faithful, to pursue reconciliation and holiness, to be patient and to trust the Lord who teaches us both through His Word and through His loving discipline. Do not be hasty, but let faith and patience have their work so that you may inherit the promises which are yes and amen in Jesus.

The Lord holds the heart of each person in His hands and turns it as He wills. Trust His sovereignty and His goodness as you pray in Jesus' name, giving thanks in advance and believing that He hears.

Let me pray for you now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, pour out grace and peace upon this brother, upon his son, and upon her. Grant them true fellowship with You and with one another through Christ. Fill them with joy from Your fullness and with the gladness that belongs to Your Son. Grant protected and regular time for father and son to meet, to hear Your Word, to worship and to grow in mutual honor and respect. Work in each heart to pursue peace and holiness and to keep a pure heart before You. Draw her to Yourself, grant repentance and faith, deliver from deception and from every evil influence and person, and establish her in the truth of Your love in adoption. Give to this brother abounding love with knowledge and discernment, wisdom for every decision, and faith and patience to wait for Your promises. Keep you all from the evil one and cause your home to be marked by prayer, thanksgiving and song to Your glory. Amen.
